Abby Lee Miller explains admitting attraction to high schoolers

Abby Lee Miller is making an effort to clarify her statements and address the backlash she received after confessing her attraction to high school football players. In a video shared on Instagram on Monday, the 57-year-old star of “Dance Moms” explained her preferences, stating, “I am drawn to those attractive, athletic, and muscular guys – the jocks. I always have been, and I always will be.” However, Miller, who is currently using a wheelchair due to her battle with cancer, added that these guys should also be capable of going out to a club, gambling in Vegas, and renting a handicap-accessible van that complies with ADA standards. Furthermore, the reality star, who served time in prison for bankruptcy fraud, believes that these men should have their own businesses, bank accounts, and personal success and passion.

Abby Lee Miller is now attempting to clarify her statements about her attraction to high school athletes. The star of “Dance Moms” explained, “I do have a preference for those attractive, athletic, and muscular types of guys – the jocks. It has always been this way and always will be.” Addressing the controversial comment that generated negative attention, Miller referred to the movie “All the Right Moves,” in which Tom Cruise portrayed a high school football star, to illustrate her point. For more exciting news from TheFantasyTimes… She also mentioned that she will be attending her high school class reunion in November and expressed her hope of encountering a heartthrob there. If not, she jokingly suggested Tom Brady as an alternative, despite his involvement with supermodel Irina Shayk. However, Miller emphasized that these guys should be capable of going out to a club and gambling in Vegas.

In a recent episode of the “Sofia with an F” podcast, Miller reiterated her preference for high school football players, stating, “That’s my weakness. I still find them attractive.” Although the film “All the Right Moves” was released in 1983 when Miller was 18 years old, she stands by her statement. However, her interview with Franklyn ended abruptly when she specified that she is interested in current high school football players, not those who have already graduated.

Abby Lee Miller is attempting to “set the record straight” after receiving backlash for admitting she’s attracted to high school football players.

In an Instagram video Monday, the “Dance Moms” star, 57, explained, “I do like those hot, athletic, muscular types of guys — the jocks. I always have, and I always will.”

However, according to Miller — who is wheelchair-bound following a cancer battle — these guys “must be able to go out to a club, gamble in Vegas [and] rent an ADA-compliant, handicap-accessible van.”

The reality star — who served eight months in prison from 2017 to 2018 for bankruptcy fraud — also feels the aforementioned men should “have a business, a bank account, success and passion in their own right.”

Circling back to her controversial comment that made headlines for all the wrong reasons, Miller said, “If you saw the movie ‘All the Right Moves’ starring Tom Cruise playing a high school football star, then you will know exactly what I’m talking about.”

“But if he’s not, I heard Tom Brady’s available,” she concluded, even though the retired NFL star seems to be dating supermodel Irina Shayk these days.

“All the Right Moves” came out in 1938, when Miller was 18.

But in a recent episode of the “Sofia with an F” podcast, she stated, “Oh, that’s my downfall. I like the high school football players. I still like them.”

Miller even doubled down on her stance, adding, “Not one that used to be in high school but one that is,” at which point Franklyn ended their interview.
