Alexis Bellino enjoys ‘single life’ after broken engagement
Alexis Bellino, a former cast member of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” is embracing the single life after her split from fiancé Andrew Drew Bohn. Following the news of their broken engagement, the 46-year-old took to her Instagram Story to share a “girls’ night out” with a brunette friend, describing it as “kinda fun.” She also posted a photo of herself in Mykonos, Greece, expressing that her life has taken an unexpected turn but promising that she will continue to move forward positively.
Last week, it was revealed exclusively that Bellino and Bohn have decided to separate as a couple. Despite the separation, they maintain a strong love for each other and genuinely wish each other the best. The former reality TV star, who accepted Bohn’s proposal in December 2020, explained that they both came to the realization that it is in their best interests to pursue separate paths.
Bellino, who is currently on vacation in Greece, shared with her followers that her life has faced an unfortunate unexpected turn. She requested thoughts and prayers for both families involved as they navigate through this breakup. This timing is particularly difficult for Bellino, as she recently lost her mother, Penelope, early last month. In a heartfelt tribute, Bellino praised her mother for her strength and expressed her determination to find answers regarding her mother’s illness through the UCLA brain donor program.
The reality star, known for her appearances on shows such as “Marriage Bootcamp: Family Edition” and “Below Deck” after leaving “The Real Housewives of Orange County” in 2013, had previously shared her mother’s health struggles with her followers in July 2021. She revealed that her mother had been battling an undiagnosed illness. Alexis was previously married to Jim Bellino from April 2005 to August 2018 and disclosed last October that one of their twins is transgender. She expressed her pride in her son Miles and introduced him to her fans with his blessing, highlighting her journey of acceptance and support.
