Amanda Bynes placed on psychiatric hold for the second time this year after being detained by cops: report
Bynes was the one who reportedly called the police to report a woman in distress. When the police arrived at her residence on Saturday morning, eyewitnesses informed TMZ that she was calm during the interaction and looked defeated as they dealt with her. Bynes’ mental health has been under scrutiny for the past few months since she was last placed on a psychiatric hold in March.
During that time, the actress, who was previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder, was found walking around LA naked. She flagged down a car without any clothes on and told the driver that she was coming down from a psychiatric episode before calling the cops on herself.
