Anil Kapoor To Join Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill and Others At Toronto International Film Festival For Thank You For Coming Premiere —
Speaking about this exciting opportunity, Anil Kapoor expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Ever since Slumdog Millionaire, I have had a desire to attend TIFF! During that period, I had the privilege of attending numerous renowned festivals for Slumdog, including the BFI in London and Cannes, among others. However, the only festival I couldn’t attend was TIFF due to a delay in my visa. Since then, attending TIFF has been a long-standing aspiration of mine. Although I couldn’t attend the festival as part of a movie’s cast back then, this year I have the honor of being there as a proud producer!”
“Thank You For Coming is a film filled with immense passion, depth, and charisma, and I am incredibly grateful to be a part of its showcase on such a revered platform,” he added.
Anil Kapoor will be joined by an impressive ensemble cast for Thank You For Coming, including Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi, at this prestigious event. Producer Ekta Kapoor and director Karan Boolani will also grace the occasion with their presence. Thank You For Coming is set to release in theaters worldwide on October 6, 2023.
Anil Kapoor will be attending the 46th Toronto International Film Festival for the grand world premiere of the upcoming movie “Thank You For Coming”. The film is set for a world gala premiere at the distinguished and luxurious Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto in the presence of juries, critics, and film lovers.Talking about the same, Anil Kapoor shares, “You know, I’ve been wanting to attend TIFF ever since Slumdog Millionaire! That year, I travelled to pretty much all the celebrated festivals for Slumdog, from the BFI in London to Cannes and everything in between. The only festival I couldn’t attend then was TIFF, and that was only because my visa didn’t arrive in time for me to be there. So TIFF has been on my bucket list ever since! I may not have been able to attend the festival then as part of the cast of a movie, but this year I get to be there in the capacity of a proud producer!”
