Ariana Grande ‘liked’ cryptic post before Dalton Gomez split
Ariana Grande expressed her approval of a cryptic quote shared on Instagram in January, during the time she was separating from Dalton Gomez. The quote, posted by psychotherapist Terri Cole, emphasized the importance of not being afraid of the person you’re dating. In addition to this post, the “7 Rings” singer also liked several other posts from Cole’s Instagram account. One of these posts discussed the concept of self-abandonment in relationships and the need to walk away from situations that jeopardize one’s peace of mind, self-respect, and effective communication. The exact time when Grande liked these posts is unclear, but it coincided with her separation from Gomez, a real estate agent. Fans expressed their concern for Grande as they noticed her liking these cryptic messages and offered her words of support and love.
Confirmation of Grande and Gomez’s divorce was made public by TheFantasyTimes. According to a source, their marital issues existed before January, but they have chosen to remain best friends. The couple, who secretly tied the knot in May 2021, arrived at the decision to divorce together.
Reports suggest that Grande’s demanding schedule played a role in the demise of their relationship. Another source revealed that Gomez was surprised by the singer’s busy agenda once COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. Since the separation, Gomez has reportedly been dating other people for several months.
In an attempt to salvage their marriage, Gomez flew to London in January to visit Grande while she was filming “Wicked.” However, their efforts were unsuccessful. On the other hand, Grande has swiftly moved on and is now dating her “Wicked” co-star, Ethan Slater, according to multiple sources. Slater, who is separated from his wife, Lilly Jay, with whom he has a child, was seen getting close to Grande in a photo from March.
While both parties seem to have moved on, Gomez is reportedly devastated by the separation and had hoped for a fairytale ending.

It’s unclear when Grande, 30, liked the post, but it was posted around the time of her separation from the real estate agent.
The “Wicked” actress also liked Cole’s posts about “self-abandonment in service of your relationship,” walking away from “people and situations that threaten your peace of mind [and] self-respect and communication as a “love language.”

The “Thank U, Next” singer also “liked” another quote on Cole’s page posted in May that read, “Imagine how different the world would be if little girls were taught to set boundaries as often as they were taught to be polite.”

“we love u Ari <3” one user wrote after seeing that she hearted the post.

Grande is also quickly moving on as multiple sources confirmed to TheFantasyTimes Thursday that she is dating her “Wicked” co-star Ethan Slater.

Slater is reportedly separated from his wife, singer Lilly Jay, with whom he welcomed a son last year.

Sources told TMZ that he and Grande got together after he already had separated from Jay.
Although both parties seem to have moved on, a source told US Weekly that Gomez is “devastated” over the split.
“A separation is not what he wanted. He wanted the fairy tale, happy ending, and it’s not looking that way,” the source shared.
