Ariana Madix delighted her followers with a lovely picture of her and her new boyfriend, Daniel Wai, during their romantic trip to Chicago. The famous “Vanderpump Rules” star took to Instagram on Monday to share a snap of the couple cozied up in front of the iconic Bean sculpture at Millennium Park. Despite the gloomy weather, both Madix and Wai couldn’t hide their smiles as they posed together, even sporting matching gray-and-white Nike Air Jordans. In the comments section, Wai revealed that he had gifted the sneakers to Madix, stating, “I just gave them to her that day.”
Madix opted for a casual look, sporting distressed green sweatpants, a white tank top, and a green jacket she held in her hand. Meanwhile, Wai, a personal trainer based in NYC, matched her style with black basketball shorts and a loose gray tank top. Adding a touch of humor, the reality star, aged 38, captioned the photo, “beans beans the musical fruit,” and jokingly apologized for her “dumb caption” in the comments.
Wai also surprised Madix with a pair of matching sneakers, which he shared on his Instagram account. The couple seemed to have had a much-needed 24-hour getaway together. Since March, Madix and Wai have been in a relationship, which started after Madix ended her long-term partnership with Tom Sandoval. The couple met at a wedding in Mexico shortly after the revelation of Sandoval and Leviss’ affair, and they have since celebrated various milestones together, including Madix’s birthday and holidays like the Fourth of July. They have also enjoyed adventures in Los Angeles and New York City.
