FUBAR | Nielsen Top 10 rankings: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s FUBAR most-watched TV show in the US

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s inaugural web series, named FUBAR, was the most-watched TV show in the United States in its premiere week, with 1,534 million viewing minutes, according to the latest Nielsen Top 10 ranking.

The action-packed comedy, which is available for streaming on Netflix, received 1.5 billion viewing minutes from May 22 to May 28, despite being available for only four days during this period.

Reacting to the latest ranking of the most-watched TV shows in the US, Schwarzenegger posted on Instagram, “Thank you all for making FUBAR a huge hit. I can’t wait for Season 2.”

FUBAR is an American action-comedy series created by Nick Santora. Schwarzenegger plays Luke Brunner in the show, his first major role in a scripted live-action TV series. The story revolves around Luke Brunner and his daughter Emma (played by Monica Barbaro), both of whom are CIA operatives who have been keeping secrets from each other. They later discover the truth and realise their lack of knowledge about one another.

CBS’s S.W.A.T. secured the second position in Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings, amassing 1.4 billion minutes of viewership across Hulu, Paramount+, and Netflix. The series initially entered the chart at No. 8 but experienced a surge in popularity after CBS announced its cancellation after six seasons, which was later reversed. Consequently, the police procedural is now scheduled to return for a seventh and final season on the network.

The sports drama All American, which concluded its fifth season on the CW on May 15 and subsequently became available on Netflix starting May 23, took the third position in the rankings. During the viewing window, the series garnered 893 million minutes of viewership over a span of six days.

Another CBS show, NCIS, also made an appearance on the chart, securing the fourth position with 871 million minutes of viewing across Netflix and Paramount+. Ted Lasso earned the fifth spot with 769 million viewing minutes.
