‘Bachelor’ host Jesse Palmer and wife Emely Fardo expecting first baby
Bachelor Nation is eagerly anticipating a new addition to the family. Jesse Palmer, the host of “The Bachelor,” and his wife, Emely Fardo, are expecting their first child, a baby girl, in early January. The couple took to Instagram on Friday to share the exciting news, accompanied by a couple of beach maternity photos. Their caption read, “We’ve been keeping a secret. Our family is growing, and our hearts are overflowing with joy! This is a dream come true for us, and we are incredibly thrilled to welcome our baby girl in January 2024 🎀💕.”
In an interview with People magazine, Palmer expressed his excitement about the upcoming “female addition” to their family. As someone who grew up with two brothers and four nephews, he can’t wait to have a daughter. He mentioned that Emely has always desired a daughter and believes she will make an exceptional mother. Palmer humorously admitted that he doesn’t expect to be strict with his daughter, as she already has him wrapped around her finger. However, he did mention feeling a bit nervous since he never had sisters in his household.
Fardo, a model, is also eagerly anticipating parenthood. She expressed her excitement about sharing life with their daughter, taking her on adventures, and passing on the lessons they have learned. Fardo mentioned feeling good throughout her pregnancy so far and continues to work out regularly.
Palmer, who rose to fame as the bachelor on the fifth season of “The Bachelor” in 2004, began dating Fardo in 2017. They got engaged two years later during a surprise trip to Paris and tied the knot in Connecticut in 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their planned wedding in Provence was postponed, and they had a small ceremony with close friends in New York. Last July, they had a second celebration at Château De La Gaude in France.
Reflecting on their wedding day, Palmer shared his happiness on Instagram, describing it as a perfect and magical day filled with love and gratitude. Fardo also expressed her joy, calling it a dream come true and the most beautiful and emotional day of her life.
Overall, Bachelor Nation is thrilled about Jesse Palmer and Emely Fardo’s upcoming arrival and eagerly awaits the birth of their baby girl in January.

Palmer, who was cast in 2004 as the bachelor on the fifth season of the dating show, started dating Fardo in 2017. Two years later, they were engaged during a surprise getaway trip to Paris.
The pair secretly wed in June 2020 after postponing their planned Provence wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We were only able to invite a small group of close friends that live in the greater NYC area, and that were in quarantine at the time,” Palmer told People in October 2021.
Last July, the couple re-tied the knot in the gardens of Château De La Gaude in France.
“Emely and I finally tied the knot (again) in front of our immediate families in Provence, France,” the Canadian television personality shared on Instagram at the time. “Everything was PERFECT.

Fardo added in her own post that marrying the “love of my life” in front of her “immediate family” was “a dream come true and the most beautiful and emocional [sic] day of my life!”
