Bebe Rexha seemingly calls out boyfriend for alleged text about her weight
Bebe Rexha appeared to publicly criticize her boyfriend Keyan Safyari for commenting on her weight when she shared a screenshot of a text message he allegedly sent her.
The singer, known for her hit song “I’m Good (Blue),” took to her Instagram Story to post the message, which hinted at trouble in their relationship after Safyari supposedly expressed his “honest” opinion about her appearance.
The text read, “I always said I would be honest with you and your face was changing so I told you it was…that was the conversation we were having and you asked.”
He then allegedly called her out for gaining “35 pounds.”
The text continued, “Should I pretend it didn’t happen and that it’s ok? Come on, I gain 3 pounds and you call me chubbs and fat. Doesn’t mean you don’t love me.”

Safyari supposedly argued that Rexha, who is 33 years old, was trying to find reasons to break up with him.
“Don’t use something like that to weaponize your anger or anxiety or any insecurity you may have,” the text continued. “You know I have always found you to be beautiful and loved you no matter what.”
It’s unclear if Rexha and Safyari, who started dating in 2020, have officially ended their relationship.

However, the pop star seemed to be in good spirits as she happily sang along to her songs “No Broken Hearts” and “Bad Bitch” in videos she posted on her Instagram Story on Saturday.
Rexha’s representatives did not immediately respond to TheFantasyTimes’s request for comment.

The alleged text message comes in the wake of the Grammy nominee’s candid discussion about her struggles with body image and her diagnosis with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in May.
“I literally gained 30 pounds so quickly, maybe a little bit more. But we have to stay positive and show love to others,” she said during an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

The alleged text message comes after the Grammy nominee, who been candid about her body image issues, opened up about her diagnosis with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in May.
“I literally jumped 30 pounds so quickly, maybe a little bit more. But we gotta just be positive and just show people love,” she said during an appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”

Rexha had previously called out TikTok users for commenting on her weight, which she revealed she has “always struggled with.”
“I was a lot thinner and I did gain some weight — that comes with the territory,” she told Hudson. “I’m not mad about it because it is true, but when you see things like that, it does mess with you.”
She continued, “You don’t know what somebody’s going through, what they’re going through in their life, so it kind of is tough. But I feel like we’re in 2023 … we should not be talking about people’s weight.”
