Ben Platt and fiancé Noah Galvin dish on wedding plans
Ben Platt and his fiancé Noah Galvin are not in a hurry to get married.
“We’re taking things slow,” Platt exclusively told TheFantasyTimes at a screening for “Theater Camp,” a film in which they both star.
“We’re just enjoying the process,” Galvin added, as they proudly displayed their engagement rings.
The couple mentioned that the wedding will take place “next year,” but they have not set a specific date.
Platt and Galvin got engaged in November 2022 after dating for nearly two years. They publicly announced their relationship in May 2020.

“He agreed to hang out forever 💕,” the 29-year-old “Parade” star captioned a series of Instagram photos from the proposal, which took place at a restaurant in Brooklyn, NY.
“I said yeehaw and then cried for like 7 hours 🫂,” Galvin, also 29, added on his own Instagram account at the time.
Earlier this year, the 29-year-old “Real O’Neal’s” alum proposed back to Platt, even though they were already engaged.

Platt shared on his Instagram Stories that Galvin proposed with a sapphire ring, similar to the one Platt had given him during their initial engagement.
“He proposed back 💙,” wrote the “Politician” alum alongside a picture of the ring.
The two first met when they played lead roles in the Broadway show “Dear Evan Hansen,” with Galvin taking over the title role after Platt stepped down.

“We were friends for five years, and right before the pandemic, we finally decided to give it a real shot,” explained the 29-year-old “Pitch Perfect” star on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” according to People. “We had been tiptoeing around it for a long time.”
Platt expressed his excitement about his fiancé to TheFantasyTimes.
“I love Noah’s authenticity and unwavering conviction,” the actor said. “And his refusal to be insincere or fake. It can be challenging at times, but it’s a much more vulnerable and honest way to live.”

Meanwhile, Galvin shared why he loves Platt.
“I appreciate Ben’s intellect and how he challenges me to be smarter, to take care of myself,” he said.
Platt jokingly responded, “So basically, I’m your babysitter.”
Other celebrities in attendance at the “Theater Camp” screening included Molly Gordon, Amy Sedaris, and Marilu Henner, who came to support her son, Nick Lieberman, the co-director of the comedy.
