Best Royal Giant Evolution Decks

The Card Evolution event in Clash Royale has been available for quite some time now, and players have become familiar with this new system that can greatly enhance decks. However, finding the perfect deck for the Evolution troops can still be a time-consuming process of trial and error.

One of the enticing options among the Evolution units is the Royal Giant, thanks to his lower Cycle point and the impressive power boost he receives after getting the Evolution buff. If you have already collected all the shards for the Royal Giant, this list provides some strong builds for you to try out in Ranked mode.

1. The Royal Push
– Royal Giant (Elixir 6)
– Valkyrie (Elixir 4)
– Sparky (Elixir 6)
– Hog Rider (Elixir 4)
– Furnace (Elixir 4)
– Fireball (Elixir 4)
– Ice Spirit (Elixir 1)
– Bats (Elixir 2)
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

This deck is designed for players who prefer an aggressive playstyle right from the start of the match. With a combination of Royal Giant and Hog Rider, you can quickly target the opponent’s crown towers. Smaller units like Bats and Ice Spirit provide support for the main attackers. Valkyrie, Sparky, and Furnace serve as defensive units. The lack of air support is compensated by the Fireball, which can clear airborne threats when Bats are unavailable. However, this deck requires swift execution to secure victory before overtime.

2. Healer’s Order
– Royal Giant (Elixir 6)
– Archer Queen (Elixir 5)
– Mini Pekka (Elixir 4)
– Battle Healer (Elixir 4)
– Zap (Elixir 2)
– Arrows (Elixir 3)
– Goblin Cage (Elixir 4)
– Inferno Dragon (Elixir 4)
Average Elixir Cost: 4.0

If you prefer heavy damage dealers over tower crushers, this deck is perfect for you. Archer Queen and Inferno Dragon handle aerial threats, while Battle Healer, Mini Pekka, and Royal Giant form the ground offensive. Zap and Arrows protect the push from spam units, and Goblin Cage acts as a solid defensive unit. However, strategic deployment is crucial to avoid being out-Elixired.

3. Aerial Dominance
– Royal Giant (Elixir 6)
– Barbarian Barrel (Elixir 2)
– Magic Archer (Elixir 4)
– Baby Dragon (Elixir 4)
– Prince (Elixir 5)
– Dart Goblin (Elixir 3)
– Musketeer (Elixir 4)
– The Log (Elixir 2)
Average Elixir Cost: 3.8

This deck focuses on units that can handle both ground and aerial threats. Magic Archer, Dart Goblin, Musketeer, and Baby Dragon can clear any non-spell threat. With such strong support, you can confidently send Prince or Royal Giant forward without worrying about defense. The Log ensures a safe path for your push, especially against Goblin Barrel or spam units.

4. Miner’s Mind Game
– Royal Giant (Elixir 6)
– Miner (Elixir 3)
– Golden Knight (Elixir 4)
– Arrows (Elixir 3)
– Lumberjack (Elixir 4)
– Furnace (Elixir 4)
– Inferno Tower (Elixir 5)
– Electro Wizard (Elixir 4)
Average Elixir Cost: 4.1

This deck relies on baiting the opponent’s crown tower with Miner, while launching the main push from the bridge. Send Lumberjack forward, spawn Miner within the Rage spell when he dies, and then drop Royal Giant followed by Golden Knight. Arrows are reserved for aerial spam, and Inferno Tower acts as a defensive building. Timing the push during the Double Elixir phase is recommended for better elixir management.

5. Naughty Goblins
– Royal Giant (Elixir 6)
– Royale Ghost (Elixir 3)
– The Log (Elixir 2)
– Goblin Barrel (Elixir 3)
– Skeleton Army (Elixir 3)
– Baby Dragon (Elixir 4)
– Firecracker (Elixir 3)
– Valkyrie (Elixir 4)
Average Elixir Cost: 3.5

This deck involves a double push strategy. Start with Royal Ghost leading the way, followed by Royal Giant. Deploy Goblin Barrel on the crown tower and drop Firecracker behind the Royal Giant. To ensure enough elixir for the push, deploy Royal Giant behind the King’s Tower and then drop Royal Ghost before reaching the bridge. Valkyrie, Skeleton Army, and Baby Dragon can be used for defense or additional offense.

It has now been a while since the Card Evolution event is out on Clash Royale, and players are well-used to this new system that can overhaul decks to a large degree. However, it is still going to be a time-consuming process of trial and error to find the right deck for the Evolution troops.

Royal Giant is one of the tempting options among the Evolution units, thanks to his lower Cycle point and a pretty impressive power enhancement that he receives after getting the Evolution buff. So, if you have already collected all the shards for Royal Giant, this list breaks down some strong builds for you to try out in the Ranked mode.

5 The Royal Push

RG Royal
  • Royal Giant
    (Elixir 6)

  • Valkyrie
    (Elixir 4)

  • Sparky
    (Elixir 6)

  • Hog Rider
    (Elixir 4)

  • Furnace
    (Elixir 4)

  • Fireball
    (Elixir 4)

  • Ice Spirit
    (Elixir 1)

  • Bats
    (Elixir 2)

  • Average Elixir Cost: 3.9

We are starting off with a deck that is built for those who love to push forward from the very beginning of the match. If you need a crew to crush the opponent’s defense right off the bat, you have a full army ahead. While Royal Giant and Hog Rider is a great duo for targeting the crown towers, you have some smaller units like Bats and Ice Spirit to provide minimal but effective support for the big boys ahead.

Valkyrie, Sparky, and Furnace all serve as defensive units for this deck. Of course, you have a lack of air support, but that’s why we have Fireball to help you with immediate clearance of airborne threats when you don’t have access to Bats. That being said, this deck is still a bit risky, and you do need to finish things off as soon as you can before the match goes to overtime.

4 Healer’s Order

RG Healer
  • Royal Giant
    (Elixir 6)

  • Archer Queen
    (Elixir 5)

  • Mini Pekka
    (Elixir 4)

  • Battle Healer
    (Elixir 4)

  • Zap
    (Elixir 2)

  • Arrows
    (Elixir 3)

  • Goblin Cage
    (Elixir 4)

  • Inferno Dragon
    (Elixir 4)

  • Average Elixir Cost: 4.0

If you actually need to stack heavy damage dealers into your deck rather than tower crushers, this is the crew you are looking for. While Archer Queen and Inferno Dragon are great options for dealing with aerial threats, you can count on Battle Healer, Mini Pekka, and Royal Giant as your major ground team.

You will need Zap and Arrows to protect your pushing army from any spam units such as Skeleton Army and Bats. Goblin Cage will also serve as a solid defensive unit to temporarily prevent any quick counter-attack by your opponent. However, you need to be wise with your deployments in this deck as you can get out-Elixired easily.

3 Aerial Dominance

RG Aerial
  • Royal Giant
    (Elixir 6)

  • Barbarian Barrel
    (Elixir 2)

  • Magic Archer
    (Elixir 4)

  • Baby Dragon
    (Elixir 4)

  • Prince
    (Elixir 5)

  • Dart Goblin
    (Elixir 3)

  • Musketeer
    (Elixir 4)

  • The Log
    (Elixir 2)

  • Average Elixir Cost: 3.8

Sometimes having a great deck filled with units that are capable of dealing with both ground and aerial damage is the smartest way to play. Magic Archer, Dart Goblin, Musketeer, and Baby Dragon are all capable of clearing any threat as long as it is not a spell.

With such a great support team, you will have a high chance of sending Prince or Royal Giant forward without worrying about any kind of defensive forces. And, just in case you face Goblin Barrel or a large amount of spam units, we have included The Log to make the path safe and sound for your pushing crew.

2 Miner’s Mind Game

RG Miner
  • Royal Giant
    (Elixir 6)

  • Miner
    (Elixir 3)

  • Golden Knight
    (Elixir 4)

  • Arrows
    (Elixir 3)

  • Lumberjack
    (Elixir 4)

  • Furnace
    (Elixir 4)

  • Inferno Tower
    (Elixir 5)

  • Electro Wizard
    (Elixir 4)

  • Average Elixir Cost: 4.1

With this deck, you are going to bait the opponent’s crown tower with your Miner, and while he is distracting the opposing troops, you can begin your main push from the bridge. So, you are basically advised to send Lumberjack forward, and as soon as he is dead, spawn Miner inside the Rage spell.

Now, it’s time to drop Royal Giant and then couple it with Golden Knight. You can always save your arrows for any possible aerial spamming by the opponent, but you also need to save up some Elixir for Inferno Tower as your defensive building. So, you might need to save this huge push for the Double Elixir phase to remain safe.

1 Naughty Goblins

RG Goblins
  • Royal Giant
    (Elixir 6)

  • Royale Ghost
    (Elixir 3)

  • The Log
    (Elixir 2)

  • Goblin Barrel
    (Elixir 3)

  • Skeleton Army
    (Elixir 3)

  • Baby Dragon
    (Elixir 4)

  • Firecracker
    (Elixir 3)

  • Valkyrie
    (Elixir 4)

  • Average Elixir Cost: 3.5

Ready for a double push from back and forth? Your attacking scenario begins with Royal Ghost leading the way with Royal Giant pushing behind him. Once you have both troops engaged, it’s time to deploy Goblin Barrel on the crown tower and drop Firecracker behind Royal Giant.

In order to have enough Elixir in the bank for such a push, you can deploy your Royal Giant behind King’s Tower and then drop Royal Ghost before the giant reaches the bridge. This way, you will have better control over your economy. Valkyrie, Skeleton Army, and Baby Dragon are suggested to be saved for any potential counter-attack, but if you see fit, you can send them forward as well.
