‘BiP’ alums Serena Pitt, Joe Amabile marry again after courthouse ceremony
Nearly a year after their courthouse wedding, Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile exchanged vows once again in a beautiful ceremony. The couple, known for their appearance on “Bachelor in Paradise,” chose The Cedar Room in Charleston, S.C. as the venue for their special day. Amabile expressed his excitement about this new chapter in their lives, stating, “This time around it feels like the start of an exciting new chapter and we are looking forward to continuing doing life together.” The decision to have the wedding in Charleston was made so they could create fresh and unforgettable memories with their loved ones. Pitt explained, “We wanted to pick a fun weekend getaway city that was accessible to most of our family and friends and had a venue we loved. We have no prior ties to Charleston but are so excited to create special memories there.”
Pitt looked stunning in a “simple and elegant” gown designed by Robert Bullock. As she made her way down the aisle, Adele’s song “Make You Feel My Love” played, adding to the romantic atmosphere. For the reception, Pitt changed into a “chic and glamorous” evening outfit by Eisen Stein. Throughout the wedding weekend, the couple shared glimpses of their Charleston experience on Instagram, showcasing the joy and love they shared.
Prior to the ceremony, Pitt shared a photo of their “wedding prep” pasta on Instagram, giving a sneak peek into the excitement leading up to their big day. The couple originally got married in a courthouse ceremony in October 2022. Guests, including Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb, who also found love on “Bachelor in Paradise,” posted updates as they made their way to the wedding venue. Heringer and Erb were present when Pitt and Amabile fell in love on the show, and their engagement and wedding news surprised their followers in October of the following year.
Amabile’s podcast co-host, Natasha Parker, served as their witness and captured the heartwarming moment of their kiss at the altar. Pitt wore a cream sweater, leather pants, and matching boots, while Amabile sported a navy quarter zip sweater, black pants, and white sneakers.
When asked about their choice of South Carolina for their second ceremony, Amabile revealed, “We just kind of randomly picked the place. We really fell in love with our venue as soon as we walked in.” Pitt kept her wedding looks a secret, only hinting at the fact that she had two dresses for the occasion.
