Blink-182 fans apologize to Tom DeLonge for being ‘right about aliens’ all along

Tom DeLonge’s belief in the existence of aliens has been vindicated. Following a groundbreaking hearing by the House Oversight subcommittee on National Security, where witnesses testified about their encounters with extraterrestrial beings, fans of Blink-182 took to social media to both praise and apologize to DeLonge. The musician, who left the band in 2015 to dedicate himself to investigating alien life, received an outpouring of support on platforms like Twitter. Many fans admitted that they were wrong to doubt DeLonge’s claims and commended him for his foresight. DeLonge himself acknowledged the findings by sharing a graphic on Instagram that proclaimed, “Tom Was Right.”

During the hearing, retired US Navy Commander David Fravor, one of the witnesses, mentioned DeLonge and his organization, To the Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences, in his testimony. DeLonge co-founded this entertainment company in 2017 with a focus on researching and exploring extraterrestrial phenomena. In 2019, the US Army even partnered with the organization for research purposes. DeLonge expressed his admiration for the witnesses and whistleblowers, referring to them as “HEROES” on Instagram. He also posted a throwback video from years ago, in which he confidently declared that he would reveal the truth about aliens.

Buoyed by the recent revelations, DeLonge took to his Instagram account to celebrate his vindication. In a caption, he declared, “Aliens F**king Exist,” emphasizing that the UFO hearings marked a historic moment. He expressed his pride in the witnesses who exposed the secrecy surrounding UFOs and acknowledged the efforts of those involved with To the Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences. Some fans even apologized for doubting DeLonge’s sanity in the past.

In addition to his interest in UFO research, DeLonge has been making headlines with his highly anticipated return to Blink-182. Last October, he announced a reunion tour with his original bandmates, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, after a nearly 10-year hiatus. The global tour began in March and will conclude on April 6, 2024, in Mexico.

Tom DeLonge was right – “Aliens Exist.”

Shortly after the House Oversight subcommittee on National Security conducted a bombshell hearing where witnesses testified about seeing aliens on Wednesday, Blink-182 fans flocked to social media to both praise and apologize to DeLonge, who famously left the band in 2015 to focus on investigating extraterrestrial existence.

“I think we all need to take a hard look at ourselves and apologize to Tom DeLonge,” one supporter wrote on Twitter, with another adding, “Tom DeLonge is gonna rule the world bc he was right about the aliens lmao.”

“So aliens exist huh,” a third tweeted. “Tom DeLonge was right. Everyone go apologize to him now.”

Another fan called the hearing a “historic day for humanity,” adding, “Dude, I watched the whole thing, you got name dropped. It was incredible.”

During Wednesday’s hearing, one witness – retired US Navy Commander David Fravor – gave a shout-out to DeLonge and To the Stars Academy of Arts & Sciences during his highly publicized testimony.

DeLonge, 47, co-founded the entertainment company, which focuses on researching and exploring the extraterrestrial space, in 2017. The US Army later inked a research partnership with the organization in 2019 to “probe everything from the mysteries of the universe to space-age technology.”

Amid the latest findings, the “All the Small Things” rocker took to his own Instagram this week to gloat over being “right.”

Declaring “Aliens F**king Exist,” DeLonge wrote in his caption, “The UFO Hearings today made history. I am so proud of the three witnesses today that blew the lid off the UFO secrecy that has been intact for decades.”

He continued, “[Ryan] Graves, Fravor and [David] Grusch are HEROES. I appreciated the shout-out during the hearing, but so many were involved with @tothestars.media to make this happen.”

The guitarist also shared a video from 20 years ago, when he first publicly stated that he was going to “f–king tell everyone” about aliens.

“Aliens gonna show up and be like, ‘Thanks, Tom. Nobody know who we were, but you totally told everybody – thanks so much,’” he said at the time. “And I’ll be like, ‘Dude, no problem.’”

Fans quickly took to the comments section to sign off on the theory that DeLonge “was right all along.”

“All those years ago when you left blink to find aliens everyone on the planet thought you were crazy,” another noted. “But who the f–k is laughing now! Well done TTS👏.”

Aside from his UFO research, DeLonge has also been making headlines for his long-awaited comeback with Blink-182. Last October, he announced a reunion tour with original bandmates Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus for the first time in nearly 10 years.

The global tour kicked off in March and wraps April 6, 2024 in Mexico.
