Britney Spears is reportedly concerned about the possibility of losing her beloved dogs during her divorce from Sam Asghari. The 41-year-old “Toxic” singer and her estranged husband, 29, share custody of two dogs: a Doberman named Porsha and an Australian Shepherd named Sawyer. An insider told the Daily Mail that dividing their pets is the most challenging aspect of dividing their assets. The source revealed that Sam gave Porsha to Britney as a gift, and it was Britney who wanted to adopt Sawyer when they were in Maui.
In October 2021, Asghari gifted Porsha to Spears. He shared a video on Instagram at the time, expressing that the dog is meant to provide unconditional love and protection against anyone with ill intentions. The couple also shares a Doberman and an Australian Shepherd.
Sawyer became a part of the family in March. Britney captioned a photo of the dog, saying she found him in Maui and instantly took him home. She described how she feels a deep connection with Sawyer through his expressive eyes, melting her heart. She emphasized that he needs her, and she appreciates that dynamic.
While Britney is reportedly reluctant to part with her dogs, the source claimed that she is willing to let go of the engagement ring Asghari proposed with in September 2021. According to the insider, the ring was obtained for free from jeweler Roman Malayev, and Britney no longer desires it as she already has enough diamonds.
Asghari gifted Britney their Doberman, Porsha, in 2021. The pop superstar adopted Sawyer, the Australian Shepherd, in Maui in March. Recently, Asghari filed for divorce, alleging cheating and domestic violence against Britney. In his divorce filing, he requested spousal support and the division of assets and possessions. Asghari broke his silence on the split via his Instagram Story, expressing their love and respect for each other and wishing her the best. He acknowledged that privacy may seem unreasonable to ask for but requested kindness and thoughtfulness from everyone, including the media.
Due to an iron-clad prenuptial agreement signed before their June 2022 wedding, it is unlikely that Asghari will receive much from their short-lived marriage.

“Regarding [Britney and Sam’s shared] property, the most difficult part of dividing any assets will be their two dogs,” a source told the Daily Mail Friday.
“But Sam gave Porsha to Britney as a present and she was the one who wanted to adopt Sawyer when they were in Maui.”
Asghari gifted Porsha to Spears in October 2021.
In a video shared on Instagram at the time, he told the singer that the dog is “meant to unconditionally love you and it’s going to be trained to protect you from any motherf—kers that comes around you with bad intentions.”
Meanwhile, Sawyer joined the family in March.
“I found him in Maui like a dream and took him home with me immediately,” Spears captioned a photo of the dog. “I think he understands me especially with those eyes…he makes my heart melt..he needs me and I like that!!!!!”

While Spears is said to be refusing to give up her dogs, the source claimed to the Daily Mail that she is more than happy to ditch the engagement ring Asghari proposed with in September 2021, which he allegedly got for free from Roman Malayev.
“Sam can have that ring,” the insider said. “It was free from the jeweler and she doesn’t want it anymore. She has enough diamonds.”
Earlier this week, Asghari filed for divorce amid allegations of cheating and domestic violence against the pop icon.
In his divorce filing, the former fitness trainer requested Spears pay for spousal support and also asked for “separate assets” and “various items.”
The actor broke his silence on the split Thursday.
“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” the “Family Business” star wrote via his Instagram Story.
“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always,” he continued, adding “s—t happens.”
Asghari noted that “asking for privacy seems rediculous [sic],” so he is asking for “everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”
It’s unlikely that Asghari will walk away with much from their short-lived marriage as he willingly signed an iron-clad prenup before their June 2022 nuptials.
