In the lengthy caption, Spears revealed that she paid a visit to her sister last week and expressed how much she missed her family. The sisterly reunion took place just weeks after Britney reconciled with her mom for the first time in years. Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears, reportedly begged the singer to make amends with Jamie Lynn, and it seems like the sisters are both leaning towards a reconciliation. Britney was finally freed from her “abusive” conservatorship in November 2021.
Britney Spears has seemingly revealed that she’s visited her estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears following their bitter feud.
Taking to Instagram Tuesday night, the “Toxic” hitmaker posted a video of herself dancing on a boat with her husband, Sam Asghari.
In the lengthy caption, Spears revealed that she paid a visit to her sister last week on the set of her Paramount+ film reboot, “Zoey 102.”
“It was nice to visit my sister on set last week !!! I’ve missed you guys so much !!! Loyal girls stay home but it’s so nice to visit family 😌 !!!” the 41-year-old wrote.
“This is me and Hesam’s first vacation in a year,” she added, using Asghari’s real name.
The Grammy winner added, “I’m so so blessed and l’m gonna play the queen of hearts now 😜 !!! Normally that’s Spanish right mamma 😏 !!! Should I do French from now on ??? Latin ??? Portuguese or German ??? Nahh I dunno 🤷🏼♀️ because I don’t speak English 😂😂😂 !!!”
While Spears remained tight-lipped on how their meeting went down, the pair’s mom, Lynne Spears, reportedly this week “begged” Britney to make amends with her younger sister.
“Lynne is begging Britney to make amends with her sister, Jamie Lynn, now,” an insider told the Daily Mail Monday.
“They are both leaning toward a yes. Lynne knows that Britney does miss her sister, and she told her that the feeling is obviously mutual.”
The sisterly reunion came just weeks after Britney finally reconciled with her mom for the first time in years.
“My sweet mama showed up at my door step yesterday after 3 years … it’s been such a long time,” she wrote alongside a throwback snap of herself as a child.
“With family there’s always things that need to be worked out … but time heals all wounds !!! And after being able to communicate what I’ve held in for an extremely long time, I feel so blessed we were able to try to make things RIGHT !!!I love you so much !!!”
“Psss… I’m so blessed we can have coffee together after 14 years !!! Let’s go shopping afterwards !!!” Britney added.
TheFantasyTimes reported that the hangout only lasted about 30 minutes, and the singer’s husband was also present.
After not speaking for a significant amount of time, Britney finally extended a public olive branch to Lynne, 68, in late 2022.

Following their bitter back-and-forth, Britney’s mom apologized via Instagram for all the pain Britney suffered during her 13-year conservatorship.
Lynne has maintained that she always tried to “do her best” with regard to Britney, and it seems as though the pair have managed to put their rocky past behind them.
Britney was finally freed from her “abusive” conservatorship in November 2021, which was put in place by her father, Jamie Spears, in February 2008.
