Britney Spears, Will.i.am release new song ‘Mind Your Business’
MYOB, jerk.
Britney Spears and Will.i.am unleashed their fiery new collaboration, “Mind Your Business,” at the stroke of midnight on Friday.
The lyrics to this electronic track showcase the Princess of Pop taking aim at the paparazzi as she sings, “They follow me, follow me, follow me / Follow, follow me / Uptown, downtown / Everywhere I turn around / Hollywood, London / Snap, snap is the sound.”
Later on, she warns that she will “send the dogs out” if the notorious shutterbugs, who have relentlessly pursued her for decades, do not “get up out [her] face.”

Will.i.am, at 48 years old, surprised fans on Monday by announcing on social media that he and Spears, who is 41, had a new song in the works.
The frontman of the Black Eyed Peas and the “Toxic” singer have previously collaborated on tracks such as “Big Fat Bass” in 2011, “Scream & Shout” in 2012, and “Work Bitch” in 2013.

“Mind Your Business” marks Spears’ second musical release since the end of her 13-year conservatorship in 2021.
Last year, she joined forces with Elton John for “Hold Me Closer,” a reimagining of the legendary Piano Man’s 1971 classic “Tiny Dancer.” The duet became her first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in almost ten years.

The “…Baby One More Time” singer also has an explosive memoir on the horizon.
Earlier this month, she announced that “The Woman in Me” will hit bookstores on October 24.
“Written with incredible candor and humor, Spears’ groundbreaking book sheds light on the enduring power of music and love — and emphasizes the importance of a woman sharing her own story, on her own terms, finally,” said Simon & Schuster imprint Gallery Books in a statement.

TheFantasyTimes first reported in February 2022 that Spears had signed a $15 million deal to write the tell-all, with journalist and author Sam Lansky serving as the ghostwriter.
“This is an inspiring read, not only because it showcases Britney’s resilience, but because her story is told with such elegance, cleverness, intelligence, honesty, and without any self-pity,” a source hinted to us in April.
“This book will … shake the world.”
