Brittany Cartwright says she didn’t get paid for most of ‘Pump Rules’ season 4
Despite being prominently featured on the fourth season of “Vanderpump Rules,” Brittany Cartwright reveals that her bank account did not reflect her involvement in the show.
The reality TV star, originally from Kentucky, joined the cast of the popular series in 2015 and remained on the show until 2020.
“I didn’t receive any payment during my first season of Vanderpump Rules until the very end. I was financially struggling,” the 34-year-old shared on her “When Reality Hits” podcast with her husband Jax Taylor. “It took a toll on me.”
The couple, who got married in 2019, discussed the significant amount of money they spent in the early stages of their relationship.
Taylor, 44, explained that financial difficulties led Brittany to make the move from Kentucky to Los Angeles due to the recurring expenses of traveling to see each other.
“It was a significant cost for her,” he revealed. “This was at the beginning of the show, and she was spending around $800 to $900.”
“She was in Kentucky working at a bar and Hooters, and spending $800 on airfare was a lot of money,” he added.
“It was about three months in,” Brittany added. “Because I had to work, I was constantly traveling back and forth to see you. I would be at work for a week and then visit you the following week. This went on for about two months.”
