Dolores Catania wants to set the record straight regarding her son Frankie Catania Jr.’s former working relationship with Luis “Louie” Ruelas, insisting that it ended on good terms. In a sneak peek of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 13 reunion obtained by Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, the reality star tries to shut down any false rumors about why her son left Teresa Giudice’s husband’s employment.

“He got another job, and that was it,” Dolores asserts in the clip. Bravo then airs “unseen footage” that shows Frankie’s father, Frank Catania, claiming that there was drama between his son and Ruelas.

“They closed the company down,” the disbarred lawyer told Joe Gorga during the scene. “Frankie had no idea what was going on and said, ‘Dad, what do I do? I’ve been calling Louie. He won’t respond.'”
Dolores tries to keep the peace and says Frankie, 24, was “very happy” working with Ruelas, 48, and that she is “very thankful” for the NJ-based businessman.

“I don’t know what this rumor is, and I don’t want to talk about Frankie at all in this cesspit of anything,” she adds.
However, Gorga, who had his business deal gone wrong with his brother-in-law, says, “I’ve known Frankie all his life, and, you know, he told me some things,” implying that there is more to the story.

“You’re lying through your teeth,” his sister, Giudice, 51, then bites back. “I don’t know what happened to you.”
Ruelas remains mum on the matter, while Dolores continues to try and shut down the conversation altogether.
“Joe Gorga, this ends right here about Louie and Frankie’s relationship because they’re very good,” the philanthropist tells her co-star. “So that ends right here.”

Dolores thanks Ruelas for hiring her son, adding that she is “upset” because she doesn’t want to “talk about anything about my son. Frankie has a good job and that’s all that happened.”
Since there have been rumblings about Frankie’s alleged fallout with Ruelas for some time, the Bravo fan account “All About the Real Housewives” recently reached out to Dolores’ son directly to get his take on the matter.
When asked if there was “any truth” to Frankie’s business relationship with Ruelas going bad, he responded via Instagram DM, “Absolutely not. Job was great, learned a bunch and ended up going to a bigger firm. Awesome experience.”
Despite Frankie’s positive experience, Ruelas’ business, Digital Media Solutions, has been scrutinized in recent years amid ongoing legal issues.
TheFantasyTimes previously obtained copies of at least three complaints that accused the media company of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in 2021. The business was again sued for harassment in May.
The final part of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 13 reunion airs Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
