Drew Sidora announces father’s death after battle with Alzheimer’s disease
Drew Sidora is currently grieving the loss of her father, Dr. Robert Jordan. The reality TV star, known for her role on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that her father had passed away after battling Alzheimer’s disease. In a heartfelt caption accompanying a video montage of cherished moments with her dad, Sidora expressed her sorrow and shared the news of his passing on August 11. She described the difficulty of facing the inevitable and thanked everyone for their support and for sharing their own experiences of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s.
Sidora referred to her father’s transition into Heaven, quoting her mother’s belief that he fought a good fight and finished his race. She expressed gratitude for the memories she will forever hold in her heart and emphasized the lasting impact of her father’s legacy. Sidora described her father as the best pediatrician in Chicago, passionate about providing quality healthcare to those in need.
Concluding her post, Sidora thanked everyone for their condolences and asked for prayers for her family as they navigate through their grief. In addition to dealing with the loss of her father, Sidora is also going through a divorce from her estranged husband, Ralph Pittman. The couple, who had been married for nine years, filed for divorce within minutes of each other on February 27. They have two children together, and Sidora also has a son from a previous relationship.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star announced on Instagram Tuesday that Dr. Jordan had died following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
“You’re never prepared for the inevitable, but here we are,” she captioned a video montage of special moments with her dad, who passed away on Aug. 11.
“It is with tears flowing, I announce that my father Dr. Robert A. Jordan has made his transition into Heaven,” she continued. “As my mom says, He fought a good fight and finished his race, with a smile on his face he picked up his crown at Heaven’s Gate!”
Sidora, 38, then thanked everyone for sharing their personal stories of caring for a loved one who has Alzheimer’s, a type of dementia that affects memory, thinking and behavior, per the Alzheimer’s Association.


“I was a Daddy’s Girl and I will cherish the precious memories that will forever live in my heart and his legacy lives forever!” she added.
The “Game” alum said that Dr. Jordan was “the best pediatrician in all of Chicago” and “was passionate about helping people, saving lives and providing quality healthcare to those in the indigent community.”
Sidora concluded her post by thanking everyone for their condolences and asking them to keep her family in their prayers as they continue to grieve.


“I thank God, knowing we will see you Daddy again!” she wrote.

In the midst of Sidora’s family tragedy, she is going through a divorce with her estranged husband, Ralph Pittman.
The “That’s So Raven” alum and the Call Me Daddy in the Kitchen founder both filed for divorce — 61 minutes apart — on Feb. 27 after nine years of marriage.
They share son Machai, 8, and daughter Aniya, 5. Sidora is also mom to 12-year-old son Josiah from a previous relationship.
