Elon Musk confirms ex Amber Heard dressed as Mercy from ‘Overwatch’ for roleplay
Elon Musk has confirmed that his ex-girlfriend, Amber Heard, used to dress up as the video game character Mercy from “Overwatch.” Musk took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share his admiration for Heard’s cosplay. He described it as “awesome” and even shared a photo of the “Aquaman” star in full costume. The actress transformed into Mercy by wearing a white bodysuit, a gold halo headpiece, and mechanical wings.
In his recently released biography, Musk’s author Walter Isaacson revealed that Heard commissioned the costume after Musk mentioned that she resembled the character. Isaacson wrote, “So she spent two months designing and commissioning a head-to-toe costume so she could role-play for him.” However, representatives for Heard have not responded to requests for comment from TheFantasyTimes.
Musk and Heard dated on and off for a year in 2017 following Heard’s high-profile divorce from Johnny Depp. While Musk expressed enthusiasm for Heard’s cosplay, the book disclosed that his brother, Kimbal Musk, did not approve of her. The book stated that Kimbal and his friends strongly disliked Heard, even more so than Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson.
Kimbal described his brother’s relationships as unfortunate, saying, “It’s really sad that he falls in love with these people who are really mean to him. They’re beautiful, no question, but they have a very dark side, and Elon knows they are toxic.” Grimes, who shares three children with Musk, also referred to Heard as “chaotic evil.”
The biography portrayed the period following Musk and Heard’s breakup in 2018 as the most challenging time in Musk’s life. However, Grimes, in her interview with Isaacson, expressed her love for Musk while acknowledging that he sometimes makes questionable decisions. Heard, on the other hand, shared her affection for the SpaceX mogul in the biography but admitted that he has a tendency to make mistakes.
Musk and Grimes began their romantic relationship shortly after his split from Heard in 2018. They were together for three years before ending their relationship in 2021. The biography also revealed that Musk and Heard secretly welcomed a third child named Techno Mechanicus, in addition to their two other children, X Æ A-12 and Exa Dark Sideræl.
Elon Musk confirmed ex-girlfriend Amber Heard used to dress up as video game character Mercy from “Overwatch” after the cosplay was revealed in his new biography.
“She did dress up as Mercy. It was awesome,” Musk wrote via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.
In a another tweet, the billionaire tech mogul shared a photo of the “Aquaman” star staring at the camera while posing in the full costume.
The actress transformed into the character by donning a white bodysuit with a gold halo headpiece and mechanical wings.
Musk, 52, and Heard, 37, dated on and off for a year back in 2017 following her highly publicized divorce from Johnny Depp.

In Musk’s self-titled biography — which was released Tuesday — author Walter Isaacson detailed how Heard commissioned the costume after the Tesla CEO said she resembled the video game character.
“So she spent two months designing and commissioning a head-to-toe costume so she could role-play for him,” Isaacson wrote in an excerpt obtained by the Daily Mail.
Reps for Heard did not immediately respond to TheFantasyTimes’s request for comment.

Despite Elon’s enthusiasm over his former flame’s cosplay, the new book claimed that his brother, Kimbal Musk, was not a fan of Heard.
“[Kimbal] and friends hated her with a passion that made their distaste for Justine [Wilson, Musk’s first wife] pale,” read an excerpt obtained by the Times of London.

“My Dungeons and Dragons alignment would be chaotic good. Whereas Amber’s is probably chaotic evil,” the Canadian singer told Isaacson.
Meanwhile, Heard shared her love for the SpaceX mogul in the biography, while admitting that he sometimes makes questionable decisions.
“I love him very much,” the “Justice League” star said. “Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him.”

The tech entrepreneur became romantically involved with Grimes later that year. The two dated for three years before calling it quits in 2021.
