Manjule, known for his exceptional storytelling, previously announced a trilogy centered around the legendary figure, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, in collaboration with renowned actor Riteish Deshmukh. Speaking about the highly anticipated Shivaji Trilogy, Nagraj Manjule revealed in an exclusive interview with Movie Talkies that the project is still in progress. Although the filming hasn’t begun yet, Manjule assured that the team is dedicated to bringing this ambitious vision to life. However, he acknowledged that it might take some time before they can commence production. In the meantime, the talented filmmaker will be directing his third project, titled “Khashaba.”

Nagraj Manjule confirmed that “Khashaba” will mark his third directorial venture. The film revolves around the inspiring life of Khashaba Jadhav, who achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first Indian athlete to win an individual medal at the Olympics during the era of India’s independence. Additionally, Manjule will also make an appearance in the highly anticipated sequel to his 2018 blockbuster, “Naal,” which is set to be released soon, captivating audiences once again.
