Ezra Miller made a surprising appearance at the movie premiere of “The Flash” on Monday, amidst ongoing legal issues. This marked the actor’s first public appearance in several years. Miller, who prefers the use of they/them pronouns, looked dapper in a white suit jacket, cream shirt, black pants and matching boots. They accessorized with gold rings and a half-up hairstyle.
“The Flash” had almost completed filming before Miller’s various off-screen scandals hit the headlines. During a speech at the premiere, the “Stand” actor thanked Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, Warner Bros. Film Group heads Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, and DC Studios’ James Gunn and Peter Safran, for their “grace and discernment and care in the context of [their] life” and for “bringing this moment to fruition.”

The “Fantastic Beasts” star also expressed their admiration and appreciation for director Andy Muschietti. Miller’s presence at the event caused confusion among fans on social media, with some expressing their concern about the lack of consequences for the actor’s past actions.
In 2022, Miller pleaded guilty to charges of trespass and disorderly conduct. This followed a previous incident in 2020 when Miller was caught on film apparently choking a female fan in Iceland, although no charges were filed. In 2019, the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” actor was arrested in Hawaii for disorderly conduct, which they pled no contest to and paid a $500 fine.
Miller’s controversies also include an arrest for harassment, although those charges were dismissed. In 2017, Miller first portrayed The Flash in “Justice League.” Later that same year, they were charged with felony burglary in Vermont, to which they pleaded not guilty, but did plead guilty to a misdemeanor unlawful trespass. Miller has apologized for their past behavior and is committed to getting back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in their life.
