The modding scene for Fallout: New Vegas has been a great platform for players to showcase their creativity. One such example of a mod that enhances the game’s SPECIAL stats is called Fallout: Ashfall.

The latest mod to expand the game is called Out of Bounds and was created by a person inspired by the Backrooms and its lore. The mod takes place in the mythical Backrooms as the player is forced to scavenge for resources to create weapons and fight unknown entities. The mod includes 17 new weapons, 6 new quests, 6 new creatures, a new smelting mechanic, and 4 new settlements to explore.

The mod creator, NKFC, has included 4 different levels of the Backrooms, including Level 0, Level 1, The Hub, and The Basement. Players can also visit other interesting areas such as Tom’s Diner, MEG Base Alpha, and even catch a glimpse of the ruins of a lost civilization in The Hub. The mod also has fully voice-acted cutscenes and NPC dialogue, with more than 40 new voice-acted characters delivering over 800 lines of dialogue.

The modder has revealed that, like in the original story of the Backrooms, players cannot escape once they enter. Additionally, players will lose all their inventory once they enter the Backrooms. Therefore, players will be left scrambling to scavenge any and all possible resources to fight the many entities found within. Furthermore, players can come across several settlements within this mysterious plane and complete side missions.

Fallout: New Vegas is available now on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
