Fans question Emily Blunt’s new look on ‘Oppenheimer’ press tour
“Oppenheimer” has been the subject of much conversation lately, but it was Emily Blunt’s remarkably wrinkle-free skin that stole the spotlight during the film’s brief press tour. Some fans of the 40-year-old actress have taken to Twitter to express their curiosity about whether she has undergone any cosmetic procedures, noting a perceived change in her appearance. One fan tweeted, “Is it just me or does Emily Blunt’s face look different?” Another questioned, “Did Emily Blunt have some sort of surgery?” A third fan even posted a picture of a disappointed child, commenting, “Just noticed the botox on Emily Blunt’s face.” There is a general sentiment among fans that Blunt “doesn’t look like herself anymore” due to “too much botox.” While some have compared her new look to Madonna, others have expressed concern about the amount of filler she may have used. Despite these comments, Blunt has never publicly admitted to using injectables. In a 2019 interview with “Women & Home,” she expressed her appreciation for imperfections and the stories they tell. She stated, “In Hollywood, people are suffocated by plastic surgery, but striving for an impassive perfection isn’t something I ever found beautiful or have tried to achieve myself.” Blunt emphasized the importance of taking care of one’s skin and overall health but believed that women who focus too much on looking perfect lose some of their magic. While fans have been fixating on her face, Blunt has been impressing in the fashion department. She made a stunning appearance on the red carpet for the Paris premiere of “Oppenheimer,” wearing a vintage mint-green Balmain dress. Later, she changed into an equally breathtaking sequined tassel gown for the London premiere. However, during a photocall for the UK showing, she almost experienced a wardrobe malfunction when her gold blazer popped open, revealing her chest. Fortunately, her co-star Florence Pugh quickly shielded her from the cameras and adjusted her top. Both women laughed it off and continued posing for photos. “Oppenheimer” will be released in theaters on July 21.

“I’m more concerned with Emily Blunt and the filler she put on her face. It looks like Madonna,” a fourth chimed in.

While Blunt has never admitted to using injectables, the “Mary Poppins” star told “Women & Home” in 2019 that she “loves imperfection.”
“I appreciate that every line on someone’s face bears a story, and is the result of experience,” she told the outlet. “In Hollywood, people are suffocated by plastic surgery, but striving for an impassive perfection isn’t something I ever found beautiful or have tried to achieve myself.”
“I believe in taking care of your skin and your general health, but women who spend too much time trying to look perfect lose some of the magic about them.”

Despite many fans hyper-focusing on her face, the mother of two — who recently announced she is taking a break from acting — has been killing it in the fashion department.
Blunt arrived on the red carpet for the Paris premiere of the Christopher Nolan-directed film in a vintage mint-green Balmain dress, which she later swapped for an equally stunning sequined tassel gown at the London premiere.
However, during a photocall for the UK showing, the actress nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction when her shimmering gold blazer popped open, exposing her chest.

Thankfully, her “Oppenheimer” co-star Florence Pugh was there to save the day and the “Little Women” actress quickly shielded Blunt from the cameras as she adjusted the top.
Yet the mishap didn’t seem to phase either woman as they laughed hysterically and continued to pose for photos.
“Oppenheimer” hits theaters on July 21.
