Fatui Cicin Mage Locations & Farming Route
Genshin Impact features the Cicin Mages, who are elite enemies and part of the Fatui Agents. These mages use Delusion to control different Elements, making them formidable opponents. The players will encounter either Electro or Cryo Fatui Cicin Mages during their journey in Teyvat. Defeating these foes will yield various drops for the players, including the Mages’ Lieutenant’s Insignia drop, which is used as characters and weapons Enhancement Material, and the Mist Grass, which is used for weapons Ascension Material.
There are several locations where players can find the Cicin Mages in Genshin Impact. While exploring Dragonspine, players will encounter seven Cicin Mages. In Liyue, the first Cicin Mage is located in a cave south of the Oceanid Waypoint, while the second one can be found in the forest north of the southern Bishui Plain Teleport Waypoint. Two other Cicin Mages can be found on the Guili Plains grounds. In Inazuma, players can find three Cicin Mages on Tatarasuna Island and three more in other regions.
To defeat the Cicin Mages in Genshin Impact, players must travel to specific locations and engage in combat. For instance, in Tatarasuna, players must travel to the northern Tatarasuna Waypoint and head southeast toward the Mikage Furnace. On the bridge that leads to the Furnace, players will encounter the first Tatarasuna Cryo Cicin Mage. As soon as the enemy is defeated, players must go south to slaughter the second Mage. Then, they must continue south along Tatarasuna Island’s southern coast to arrive at the final Cryo Cicin Mage location.
In Sumeru, players can find eight Cicin Mages in marked spots. The first Mage is located in Pardis Dhyai, while the second is southeast of the Chatrakam Cave Waypoint, next to a Shrine of Depth in the Lokapala Jungle. The final Fatui Mage is southeast of the Lokapala Jungle Statue of the Seven, beside a lake.

Fatui Cicin Mage Locations In Liyue
Wuwang Hill
The first Genshin Impact Cicin Mage in Liyue is located in a cave, south of the Oceanid Waypoint, while the second can be found in the forest, north of the southern Bishui Plain Teleport Waypoint.
Guili Plains
Two other Cicin Mages can be found on the Guili Plains grounds. One Mage is located on the Sea of Clouds shore, while the other is west of the western Sea of Clouds Waypoint.
Other Locations
Since the Cicin Mage doesn’t come in pairs in Genshin Impactplayers can find more of the Fatui Mages in these other locations:

Fatui Cicin Mage Locations In Inazuma
Tatarasuna
Fast travel to the northern Tatarasuna Waypoint, and head southeast toward the Mikage Furnace. On the bridge that leads to the Furnace, players will locate the first Tatarasuna Cryo Cicin Mage in Genshin Impact.
As soon as the enemy is defeated, go south to slaughter the second Mage. Then, continue south along Tatarasuna Island’s southern coast to arrive at the final Cryo Cicin Mage location in Genshin Impact.
Narukami Island
From the Kamisato Estate, follow the southwestern staircase to the Chinju Forest to find the first Narukami Island Fatui Mage. Proceed to the west and climb up the cliff to defeat the Cryo Cicin Mage near the Cube Devices puzzle in Genshin Impact.
Once players defeat the prior enemy, go northwest to locate the next one. Afterward, take the northern path to locate the final Cicin Mage on Narukami Island.
Other Locations
An extra three Cicin Mages are scattered around the following regions in Inazuma:
- At the Jakotsu Mine shore, east of the Maguu Kenki
- East of the northern Watatsumi Island Waypoint
- North of Seiraimaru in Seirai Island
Fatui Cicin Mage Locations In Sumeru
Pardis Dhyai
From the Pardis Dhyai, go northeast toward the first Cicin Mage. Defeat the foe, then head southwest toward the second Fatui Mage in Genshin Impact.
Lokapala Jungle
The first Mage is southeast of the Chatrakam Cave Waypoint, next to a Shrine of Depth in Genshin Impactwhile the second is in the northern parts of the Mawtiyima Forest. The final Fatui Mage is southeast of the Lokapala Jungle Statue of the Seven, beside a lake.
Other Locations
In Sumeru, players can also locate eight Cicin Mages in the marked spots.
