There have been numerous adaptations of The Invisible Man over the years, including Blumhouse’s The Invisible Man directed by Leigh Whannell. Despite being made on a low budget, the film grossed over $144 million, leading to the development of other new adaptations of classic horror movie monsters. The team behind Fear the Walking Dead hopes that viewers will find just as much enjoyment in this latest take on the story.

\”All the films based on or inspired by H. G. Wells’ novel are popular because it’s one of the most famous books ever written,\” said Mhairi Calvey, who stars in Fear the Invisible Man, in an interview with The Action Elite. \”Most of us have asked the question of what we would do if we were invisible. People are fascinated by that question and get to live a bit of that fantasy through films based on the premise.\”

Calvey hopes that the audience will have fun watching Fear the Invisible Man and simply be entertained. With everything that has been happening in the world recently, sometimes it’s nice to switch off and enjoy something that is a little light-hearted.

Most of us have sat and asked the question what we would do if we were invisible. I think people are fascinated by that question and get to live a bit of that fantasy through films based on the premise.”

On what she hopes viewers take away from the film, Calvey added, “I think I would just like audiences to have fun watching Fear the Invisible Manto simply be entertained. There has been a lot going on in the world recently and sometimes it’s just nice to switch off and have fun watching something a little light-hearted.”
