Gashmeer Mahajani’s Father, Veteran Marathi Actor Ravindra Mahajani Passes Away at 77 —
Ravindra Mahajani had been residing in Pune for the past few years. Tragically, he was discovered lifeless in his residence after concerned neighbors alerted the authorities due to a foul odor. Initial investigations suggest that he may have already passed away a day or two prior.
Gashmeer, the son of Ravindra Mahajani, has been notified by the police about the unfortunate incident. Ravindra Mahajani embarked on his acting journey with the film Saat Hindustani in 1969. He graced numerous successful Marathi movies and earned the title of “Vinod Khanna of Marathi cinema”. Some of his notable films include Gondhalat Gondhal (1982), Devta (1983), Sarja (1987), Unaad Maina (1988), Zoonj (1989), and Jagavegali Paij (1992). His final appearance was in Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Panipat” where he portrayed the character of Malharrao Holkar.
