Gashmeer Mahajani’s Father, Veteran Marathi Actor Ravindra Mahajani Passes Away at 77 —
Ravindra Mahajani had been residing in Pune for the past few years. His lifeless body was discovered in his residence after concerned neighbors alerted the authorities due to a foul odor. Preliminary investigations suggest that he may have passed away a day or two earlier.
Gashmeer, the son of Ravindra Mahajani, has been notified by the police about the tragic incident. Starting his career with the film “Saat Hindustani” in 1969, Ravindra Mahajani went on to achieve great success in Marathi cinema and was often referred to as the “Vinod Khanna of Marathi cinema”. Some of his notable movies include “Gondhalat Gondhal” (1982), “Devta” (1983), “Sarja” (1987), “Unaad Maina” (1988), “Zoonj” (1989), and “Jagavegali Paij” (1992). His last appearance on the big screen was in Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Panipat”, where he portrayed the character of Malharrao Holkar.

He was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Panipat”, playing the role of Malharrao Holkar.
