How Many Episodes Are Left & When The Finale Airs

The Bachelorette season 20 featuring Charity Lawson is set to premiere tonight, June 26, on ABC at its new time slot of 9 p.m. EDT. Charity, a 27-year-old child and family therapist hailing from Columbus, Georgia, begins her journey with 25 men vying for her heart and hoping to become her husband. Charity first appeared on Zach Shallcross\’ Bachelor season, where she ranked fourth and sparked her Bachelor Nation fandom. Despite her strong connection with Zach, she was eliminated after her hometown date and before the Fantasy Suites. Fortunately, she was given a second chance at love when host Jesse Palmer announced that she would be the next Bachelorette.

The Bachelorette season 20 was filmed from March 21 to April 30, 2023. Charity was an excellent choice as the lead because she is committed to finding true love. She is also thrilled to represent Black women and show young girls who look like her that they too can aspire to such a role. Previews of the season reveal that it will have all the romance and drama that viewers have come to expect from the show. Hopefully, it will also provide Charity with the happily-ever-after she deserves.

The Bachelorette season 20 does not have an official episode count yet, but based on the previous five seasons, it will likely have 10-13 episodes. The Bachelorette season 19, which featured Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey, had 12 episodes, while season 18 with Michelle Young had 11. Katie Thurston’s season 17 had 10 episodes, and Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams had 13 during season 16. It makes sense that the seasons with dual Bachelorettes have more episodes than others, but Hannah Brown’s season 15 also had 13.

The Bachelorette season 20 finale doesn’t have an official air date yet. Depending on how many episodes there are, the finale could air anywhere from August 28 (if 10 episodes) to September 18 (if 13 episodes). It would make sense for ABC to air The Bachelorette in September, and then air the Dancing With The Stars season 32 premiere the week after the finale.

There are high hopes for The Bachelorette season 20. Although there has been an engagement in every season except for Jen Schefft’s, the last Bachelorette who stayed with her final choice and got married was season 17’s Rachel Lindsay in 2017. She married Bryan Abasolo on August 24, 2019. Since then, Becca Kufrin, Hannah, Clare, Tayshia, Katie, Michelle, Gabby, and Rachel have all ended their engagements. Hopefully, The Bachelorette season 20 will bring Charity a successful and healthy engagement that leads to marriage.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
