‘I hope you take offense’
Fans believe that A$AP Rocky is indirectly criticizing Travis Scott in his latest song.
During his headline performance at the Rolling Loud music festival in Miami on Sunday, Rocky rapped, “First you stole my flow, so I stole your bitch / Then you stole my style, I need at least like 10 percent.” He added, “All due disrespect, I hope you take offense.”
A video of Rocky performing the unreleased track on a ladder surrounded by the crowd below was posted on Twitter.

Following the apparent diss, fans speculated that Rocky, who confirmed his relationship with Rihanna in 2020, was referring to Scott, who had been romantically linked to Rihanna in 2015.

“Naah Rocky sending shots at Trav,” one Twitter user commented.
“bruh rocky & Travis beef reignited just before they both drop their albums,” another person tweeted.

Scott and Rihanna never publicly confirmed their relationship back in 2015.
Meanwhile, Rocky and Rihanna have a 1-year-old son named RZA together and are expecting another child.
This isn’t the first time Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, has addressed Scott in public. In May 2022, during an appearance on an episode of “Drink Champs,” Rocky discussed claims that Scott copied his style.

“I saw similarities, for sure. I saw that he was inspired and stuff like that, but that’s what we’re in it for,” Rocky said during the episode.
“Imitation is the best form of flattery. If people weren’t trying to imitate you, then you’re doing something wrong.”
Rocky’s apparent diss comes just before the release of his highly anticipated new album, “Don’t Be Dumb.” Coincidentally, Scott announced at Rolling Loud that his new album, “Utopia,” would be released on Friday, along with the film “Circus Maximus.”
