Ice Spice claps back at troll who compared her looks to someone with Down syndrome

Ice Spice responded to a Twitter troll who compared her appearance to that of an unidentified woman with Down syndrome.

In a tweet that has since been deleted, Twitter user @illy_ilz posted a side-by-side image featuring half of the face of the “Princess Diana” rapper and half of the face of a random woman with the genetic disorder, suggesting that they looked alike.

“You thought you had something, but my sister is cute asf 😍,” Spice tweeted in response to the hateful tweet.

Fans praised the 23-year-old rapper for taking the high road and not letting the social media user get to her.

“And this is why your status as a mother will never be revoked. You see how she handled that with class and grace, that’s a real mother right there ❤️,” tweeted one supporter.

“She is the epitome of a girl’s girl, I love her so much,” added another.

“Love how you brought out the positivity in this post despite the original intent of the messy poster. Keep being you, Ice! Your star will keep rising,” said another user.

Spice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, burst onto the music scene with her hit single “Munch (Feelin’ U)” last summer.

She has continued to gain traction in the hip-hop world, collaborating with artists such as Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, and Taylor Swift.

However, the “Barbie World” emcee has faced negativity from those who questioned if her success was influenced by the lighter tone of her skin.

“I have seen those opinions,” she told Teen Vogue last month regarding colorism. “I feel like that’s not something personal to me. I feel like that’s been the conversation for generations and forever, since the beginning of time.
