The couple, who were photographed in Los Angeles on Monday, shared a sweet kiss as they enjoyed an afternoon outing. After leaving a store, Foxx kindly opened the backseat door of their car for Huckstepp. She lovingly grabbed his face with both hands and smiled before they leaned in for a kiss. Foxx waved goodbye as Huckstepp drove off. Prior to their shopping trip, the couple had visited Cannes, France, in May 2022, sparking rumors of a romance. They also recently enjoyed a romantic Labor Day Weekend getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
During their outing, Foxx, who is 55 and an Oscar winner, wore a black T-shirt, gray jeans, white sneakers, and a cream-colored fedora hat. Huckstepp matched him in dark athleisure wear and white tennis shoes. Not much is known about their relationship, as Foxx is notoriously private and Huckstepp does not have a social media presence.
Foxx appears to be in good spirits and health following a three-month hospital stay. In April, his eldest daughter, Corinne, revealed that he had experienced a mysterious “medical complication,” but did not provide further details. His condition was serious enough that family members reportedly traveled to be by his side. However, he is now communicating and recovering well.
Foxx made his first public appearance in July, smiling and waving from a boat in the Chicago River. He was later seen golfing with friends at a Topgolf in Naperville, Illinois. “I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie or a television show,” he explained through tears.
“I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.”
Nonetheless, he assured everyone he was on “the road to recovery” and would be back to work soon.
Foxx’s first project since getting back on his feet was a commercial for BetMGM.
Actress Kristen Radford Thom, who co-starred in the campaign, described Foxx as “kind, “humble,” “hilarious” and “a ball of energy” on set, noting that he was “pretty open” to the cast and crew “about his situation without telling [them] exactly what happened.”
