As she carefully disembarked from the boat, her husband, Paul Bettany, impressed everyone with his acrobatic skills by jumping off the side of the vessel. After spending some time in the water, the couple, who have been happily married for over two decades, returned to the boat. Connelly rinsed off using a hose before treating herself to a delightful ice cream and perhaps a few drinks from the floating bar that approached their yacht. Later on, she couldn’t resist the temptation of cooling off in the water once again, and Bettany joined her for a refreshing swim.
The couple’s 19-year-old son, Stellan, and 12-year-old daughter, Agnes, accompanied them on this memorable vacation. Connelly’s 26-year-old son from a previous relationship, Kai, also joined the family. The lovebirds first met on the set of “A Beautiful Mind” in 2001 but didn’t start dating until after filming wrapped. Despite being in other relationships at the time, they were immediately drawn to each other. During their vacation, Connelly was delighted to have her three children by her side, creating precious memories together.
Reflecting on their initial encounter, Connelly recalled, “I remember meeting him at the first read-through and thinking, ‘Hmm, he’s really talented.'” Similarly, Bettany couldn’t help but be captivated by Connelly’s beauty, expressing, “I’ve never been this close to someone so stunning before. I bet every man you’ve ever met has tried to flirt with you.” Once they both ended their previous relationships, they decided to take a chance on love and tied the knot just over a year later in January 2003. After wading in the water for a while, the couple — who have been married for over 20 years — made their way back onto the boat.
Once onboard, Connelly used a hose to rinse off before indulging in a sweet treat — and potentially a couple of drinks from the floating bar which was spotted pulling up to their yacht.
Connelly and Bettany were joined by their 19-year-old son, Stellan, and their 12-year-old daughter Agnes. The “Career Opportunities” star’s 26-year-old son from a previous relationship, Kai, was also there.
