Jennifer Lopez wears Selena Quintanilla tee 26 years after playing the musician
Jennifer Lopez will forever hold a special place in her heart for Selena Quintanilla.
The talented actress, who portrayed the iconic singer in the 1997 film “Selena,” was recently seen wearing a graphic tee featuring the late artist as she left the gym in Los Angeles on Friday.
Lopez donned a cropped grey shirt that depicted the Queen of Tejano music performing amidst a backdrop of red roses, with her name written in vibrant sunset colors.
Completing her look, Lopez paired the shirt with baggy pink sweatpants, black sneakers, and her hair styled in a loose updo.

In true J.Lo fashion, the “Jenny from the Block” singer accessorized her ensemble with silver hoops and gold bracelets on both wrists. It’s worth noting that she recently had a confrontation with paparazzi, during which she shouted obscenities at them after being briefly locked out of the gym.

As she hurriedly made her way to her black SUV, Lopez was also seen carrying a tablet and a phone.

Lopez rose to prominence with her role as the “Como La Flor” singer in the late ’90s.
The biopic focused on Quintanilla’s upbringing, the beginning of her career, and the tragic event of her murder in 1995 by Yolanda Saldívar, her friend and president of her fan club.
Throughout the years, Lopez has consistently honored the legacy of the “Amor Prohibido” artist.

Last March, the “Let’s Get Loud” star celebrated the 25th anniversary of the film’s release with a heartfelt tribute, sharing photos from her time on set.
“Today, we commemorate and honor Selena’s legacy and music,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “This movie holds immense significance to me… Selena and her family hold a special place in my heart, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have been chosen to portray her. I will never forget this period of my life, and it is an honor as an artist to have been part of the magic that is this film ✨.”
