Kelly Bensimon has jitters about moving in with fiancé Scott Litner
Reality TV personality Kelly Bensimon, known for her appearances on “Real Housewives,” is preparing to embark on a new chapter as a wife. However, she confesses to having some apprehension about the upcoming changes. Bensimon recently listed her downtown apartment for rent at an astonishing $28,500 per month and has moved in with her fiancé, financier Scott Litner. During an interview at designer Dennis Basso’s Fashion Week show, she expressed her excitement about the move but also admitted to feeling nervous about leaving her old apartment behind. As a single mother of two daughters, she takes pride in having created a life for them independently. Bensimon, who was previously married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon for a decade, got engaged to Litner during the July 4th weekend at Lake Geneva in Wisconsin after a year of dating. The star of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” placed her apartment, located at the Beaux-Arts Police Building on 240 Centre St., on the rental market in August. Bensimon is eager for the blending of their belongings and envisions a cozy nest-like atmosphere in their new home. She also revealed that their wedding is scheduled for either next March or April, and she has a specific dream when it comes to her dress. Bensimon’s ultimate desire is to wear a gown designed by Calvin Klein himself, as she believes he creates the most beautiful dresses in the world.
“Real Housewives” star Kelly Bensimon is about to be a real housewife. Or, at least, a real wife. But she tells TheFantasyTimes she has some butterflies about it all.
Bensimon has put her downtown apartment up for rent — for a whopping $28,500 a month — and moved in with her fiancé, financier Scott Litner, on Tuesday, we’re told.
“I am really, really excited to move in with him,” she told TheFantasyTimes at designer Dennis Basso’s Fashion Week show.
But says she is dealing with jitters.
“I am really, really nervous to move out of my old apartment,” she tells us. “I am only renting, but still there is something to be said about this life that I created for my girls on my own,” says the single mom of two.

“I am so proud to have raised them and financially provided for them on my own. It’s very strange to be moving in with someone else,” she told us.
Bensimon, who was married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon for ten years, has daughters Sea, 25, and Teddy, 23.

Litner also has children.

“It will be a blending of all the stuff,” she tells us, saying when it comes to decorating, “I guess I am going to go with a nest vibe. All these little ducklings in one big nest.”
The wedding is being planned for next March or April and Bensimon has a dream wish when it comes to her dress.

“I really want Calvin,” she told us, clarifying, “Not Calvin Klein [the brand], Calvin [Klein the person] himself. . . When I think of wearing the most beautiful dress in the world, it’s Calvin for me.”
