The couple’s divorce has been a contentious one, with both parties accusing the other of abuse and financial issues. Despite this, they are still living in the same home as they co-parent their six children.
Biermann’s daughter, Brielle, made headlines recently when she resurfaced a tweet from 2020, claiming her mother made her wait in the car while she gambled until 3 a.m. Despite the drama, Biermann remains focused on self-improvement and personal growth during this difficult time.
Kroy Biermann is on a “journey of self-improvement” amid his and Kim Zolciak’s divorce.
The retired NFL player told his Instagram followers Friday about a “really cool part of the book” he’s reading, saying it has led him to “appraise [him]self according to several specific character traits.”
“They offered six questions to reflect upon, answer and journal upon to see where I am in my journey of self-improvement,” the former athlete explained.
Biermann, 37, then shared the queries in subsequent slides, reflecting on “loyalty,” “compassion,” “patience” and other qualities.

In the comments section, the former Atlanta Falcons player thanked social media users for their “support and positivity.”
News broke in May that Biermann and Zolciak, 45, had called it quits after 11 years of marriage.
The estranged couple welcomed four children — Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9 — during their union, with Biermann also adopting Zolciak’s daughters Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from previous relationships.
