Kyle Richards squashes feud with Jeff Lewis after his ‘lesbian on Ozempic’ comment
Kyle Richards appears to be making peace with Jeff Lewis after he made a controversial comment about her. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared a photo of white orchids sent by Lewis on her Instagram Story, expressing her gratitude. This gesture from Lewis comes after he joked about Richards’ rumored relationship with country singer Morgan Wade and her alleged use of Ozempic for weight loss. Lewis made the comment during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.” Two days later, Richards announced that she needed some space from Lewis and didn’t feel like responding to him at the moment. She expressed her frustration with the constant stories about her and just wanted everyone to be quiet. Lewis later apologized for his comment, stating that he was merely making fun of the rumors and didn’t expect it to be taken seriously. He also expressed a desire for Richards to respond to his apology.
Richards’ personal life has been under scrutiny since news broke of her separation from husband Mauricio Umansky. Although they are still living together, they have been separated for some time. Despite their split, they have maintained an amicable relationship and continue to support each other publicly. Rumors started circulating that Richards was dating Morgan Wade, which was further fueled by their appearance in a music video together. However, Richards has insisted that they are just good friends. In addition to the dating rumors, Richards has faced accusations of using the weight-loss drug Ozempic. She has denied these claims and attributed her weight loss to a healthy lifestyle focused on sobriety, exercise, and a sugar-free, carb-free, and alcohol-free diet.
Kyle Richards is seemingly calling a truce with Jeff Lewis after he called her a “lesbian on Ozempic.”
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star posted a photo of white orchids sent from Lewis to her Instagram Story Sunday, writing, “Thank you @jljefflewis 🙏🏼❤️.”
The Bravolebrity’s apparent white flag comes nearly a week after the “Flipping Out” star joked about Richards’ rumored relationship with country singer Morgan Wade and claims that she has used Ozempic to lose weight.
“Kyle and I are friends and … she didn’t tell me she’s a lesbian on Ozempic,” Lewis quipped on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Tuesday night.

Two days after the Sirius XM host’s remark, Richards, 54, shared that she was taking some space from Lewis.
“I’m not not talking to Jeff Lewis, I just don’t feel like responding to Jeff Lewis right now, to be honest with you,” she said on Amazon Live Thursday.
“I’m just tired of it. I’m at my wit’s end with all of the stories about me out there and I just want everyone to be quiet.”

In an exclusive statement to TheFantasyTimes, Lewis, 53, expressed remorse for offending Richards with his comment.
“I was simply poking fun at these ridiculous rumors that have been circulating about my friend Kyle,” he told us Thursday. “I never expected anyone to take this seriously and have apologized publicly and privately.”
He added, “If I could say one thing to Kyle; please text me back.”

Richards’ life has been under a microscope since news broke in July that she and husband Mauricio Umansky were splitting up after 27 years of marriage.
A source told People at the time that the two were still “living under the same roof” but had been separated “for a while now.”
“They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family,” the insider added.

However, since “RHOBH” cameras have started rolling to capture the fallout, the estranged couple has put on a united front and have shared support for each other on social media.
Soon after the split, rumors began flying that Richards was dating musician Morgan Wade.
Last week, the reality TV star continued to fan the flames by appearing in the singer’s steamy music video, which showed the two nearly kissing.

In a behind-the-scenes look at the music video, Wade said, “You see people being obsessed with us being friends and why we’re friends, but we thought it would be a good idea kind of to … troll the trolls a little bit.”
Richards has also maintained that she and Wade, 28, are just “very good friends.”
In addition to speculation about her love life, Richards has also faced accusations that she used the diabetes-turned-weight-loss drug Ozempic after revealing a slimmer frame in January.

As TheFantasyTimes previously reported, the Bravo star — who recently celebrated one year of sobriety — has attributed her weight loss to her alcohol-free and fitness-focused lifestyle.
“After gaining weight during the summer — on July 15 — after getting off the boat I said, ‘That is it. I’m not having any sugar, any carbs, any alcohol,’” she told fellow “Housewives” Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge during a January episode of the “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast.
“A lot of people think I’ve been taking Ozempic. To clarify I’ve never taken Ozempic.”
