Kyle Richards trolls husband Mauricio Umansky over weight loss after split
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky engaged in a playful exchange on social media, following news of their separation after 27 years of marriage. Umansky, a real estate broker, shared a before-and-after photo of his six-year weight loss journey on Instagram. In his caption, he mentioned his plan to improve his fitness every year and the importance of only posting workout photos. Richards, a star on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” jokingly commented that Umansky must be on Ozempic, a diabetes drug, in response to his weight loss transformation. Umansky playfully responded to her comment with laughing emojis.
Richards, who has also recently embraced fitness, has faced ongoing rumors that she uses Ozempic for her own weight loss. However, she has repeatedly denied these claims. On July 4, the couple confirmed that they had a challenging year but dismissed rumors of divorce as false. They also addressed speculation surrounding Richards’ close relationship with country music singer Morgan Wade, clarifying that there was no wrongdoing and that they preferred to work through their issues privately.
Richards’ friend, Erika Jayne, also defended her and stated that the couple was not permanently splitting. Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen hinted that viewers would notice signs of trouble in their marriage when the new season of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” premieres. However, Richards and Umansky maintain that they are not getting a divorce anytime soon. The upcoming season is expected to capture the development of their separation.
Umansky and Richards have three daughters together, while Richards also has a daughter from her previous marriage.
Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky engaged in yet another playful exchange on social media just weeks after news broke that they were separating after 27 years of marriage.
On Friday, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star trolled her estranged husband after the real estate broker posted a before-and-after photo of his six-year weight loss journey.
“I was planning on posting this for my Birthday but I was in Aspen and there has been a lot of noise,” Umansky, 53, captioned the shirtless photos on Instagram.
“6 years ago I was fat and out of shape the plan is to get better every year. I need to post this to keep me going and every guy know you don’t post unless you just worked out and are all pumped up lol.”

While most of Umanksy’s followers praised his hard work, Richards didn’t miss out on the opportunity to take a jab at the “Buying Beverly Hills” star.
“Must be ozempic 😜🤣,” the “RHOBH” OG, 54, sarcastically wrote.
Umansky simply replied, “must be” with three laughing emojis.

Richards, who also recently found a love for fitness, has been battling never-ending rumors that she’s using the diabetes drug to boost her own weight loss for months. (Richards has denied using Ozempic.)
On July 4, the twosome confirmed that they had a “rough year,” but called claims about them divorcing “untrue.”
The estranged couple also appeared to address the rumors circulating about the nature of Richards’ very close relationship with country music singer Morgan Wade, with whom she has become inseparable over the past year.

“There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately,” the reality stars continued.
Soon after, Richards explicitly denied dating the “Wilder Days” singer, whom she seemingly got a matching heart tattoo with.
“We are very good friends,” the Bravolebrity told paparazzi, confirming that the whole thing was “just a rumor.”

Richards’ BFF Erika Jayne also recently came to her defense, insisting that the estranged couple was not done for good.
“I’m going to let Kyle really explain, but they’re not splitting,” Jayne told Billboard in an interview published Friday. “They have had a very hard time. They’ve acknowledged that.”
While the “Pretty Mess” singer says it’s “best” for Richards to “tell her own story,” Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen told TheFantasyTimes that viewers will pick up on signs of trouble in paradise when “RHOBH” Season 13 premieres in the fall.

“I think when you watch the new season of ‘Beverly Hills,’ you’ll be less surprised [by Richards and Umansky’s split],” he hinted.
“RHOBH” star Garcelle Beauvais also confirmed that the pair’s marriage was a major “topic of conversation” between the cast this season.
In fact, we’ve been told that Bravo cameras specifically picked back up to capture their split — despite ending filming months ago.

“This development has rocked the Bravo world,” an insider told us exclusively.
“Producers know fans want a glimpse into how Kyle and Mauricio came to this decision.”
Umansky and Richards are parents to daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, while the “Halloween Kills” actress is also mom to daughter Farrah, 34, with her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
