Kylie Jenner claims she no longer heavily edits her Instagram photos
Kylie Jenner asserts that she no longer alters any of her Instagram photos, despite admitting to doing so in the past.
During the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” the 25-year-old makeup entrepreneur sat down with her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian to discuss their influence on today’s beauty standards.
Jenner asked her older sisters, “I just feel like we have a significant influence, so what are we doing with that power?”
She continued, “I see so many young girls on the internet now completely editing their pictures. The level of editing!”
“I went through that phase too. I feel like I’m in a better place now. However, other people can make you feel insecure,” she admitted.
In a personal reflection, Jenner acknowledged that while it is normal to feel insecure at times, she used to be extremely confident, regardless of others’ opinions about her.
“I have always loved myself, and I still do. One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was an insecure child who underwent extensive facial surgery, which is false. I have only had fillers, and I don’t want that to define me,” she clarified.
Jenner later shared, “Social media has been an intriguing experience for me. I think I have heard every possible negative comment and rumor that anyone could say about me. The more it happens, the stronger and more immune I become to it.”
Unlike the founder of “Kylie Cosmetics,” Khloé admitted that she has “accumulated” her insecurities from society and online trolls.
“From the moment I appeared on TV, I have been torn apart. And when I started changing my appearance… and yet, there are still people constantly bullying you. So, which is it? You didn’t like me then, and you don’t like me now,” the 39-year-old revealed in a personal reflection.
During the discussion with her siblings, the “Good American” founder even presented an old photo of herself, claiming that she looked as if she was “wearing a fat suit.”
She also pointed out that she probably would not have undergone a nose job if their mother, Kris Jenner, had not made comments about it.

Jenner also mentioned that she would not have been insecure about her ears if her family had not teased her about them when she was younger.
In fact, it was not until she had her daughter, Stormi, that she learned to embrace them.

“I just feel like we have huge influence and like what are we doing with that power?” Jenner asked her older sisters.
“I just see so many young girls on the internet now fully editing [their pictures]. Like, the editing!” she continued.
“I went through that stage too. I feel like I’m in a better place. But other people can instill insecurities in you.”
In a confessional, Jenner noted that while it is “normal to be insecure sometimes” she used to be super confident — despite what people thought about her.

Despite living in a world that is “obsessed with perfection,” Kourtney, 44, is trying give her own kids “the freedom to express themselves and not put so much pressure on perfectionism” — which both her sisters agreed with.
While the three women seemingly have a new-found perspective on photoshop and their impact on beauty standards, the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been accused of heavily editing their pictures for years.
