Lala Kent defends her, Scheana Shay’s photo with Tom Sandoval
Lala Kent is not interested in dealing with ignorant haters who criticized a group photo she took with her fellow “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Tom Sandoval. Kent took to her Instagram Story to address the backlash while watching TV in bed with Scheana Shay. She expressed her astonishment that people fail to realize that they are still filming a show. Kent clarified that the photo was taken for a fan’s birthday and included herself, Shay, Brock Davies, James Kennedy, Ally Lewber, and Tom Schwartz alongside Sandoval. Kent defended their decision to take the photo, stating that they were simply being adults and celebrating someone’s birthday.
Shay also joined in on defending the photo, questioning why she needed to justify taking a picture with her hand in the back of someone. She explained that they were a group of friends, and it was natural for them to take a photo together. Shay emphasized that she takes photos with strangers regularly and poses in a similar manner. While Kennedy, Lewber, Davies, and Schwartz have yet to comment on the picture, Shay responded to claims that she had forgiven Sandoval for his affair with Raquel Leviss. She tweeted that she was simply doing her job and questioned why she shouldn’t be there.
The group is currently in Lake Tahoe for a cast trip. Leviss, on the other hand, was photographed in Tucson, Arizona, after leaving a mental health facility. It was previously reported that Leviss was negotiating her contract for Season 11 and playing hardball before joining the cast trip. An insider revealed that while Leviss is genuinely concerned for her well-being, she will join Season 11 if the price is right. In March, it was revealed that Sandoval had cheated on Ariana Madix with Leviss, leading to Leviss seeking therapy. Since then, she has reportedly gone back to using her birth name, Rachel.

Kent went on an “Instagram Story rant” Thursday while watching TV in bed with Scheana Shay to clap back against backlash.
“It, like, still blows my mind that people don’t realize we’re still filming a show,” the Give Them Lala Beauty creator, 32, said.
She clarified that she and Shay – along with Brock Davies, James Kennedy, Ally Lewber and Tom Schwartz – only posed with Sandoval, 41, for a fan’s birthday.
“What are we gonna be like, ‘No. Absolutely not.’ Like, no, ‘Happy birthday, let’s take a f–king picture,’” Kent said. “It’s called adulting.”
Shay, 38, chimed in even though she didn’t know why she felt “the need to defend taking a photo with her hand … in the back of someone.”
She explained, “We’re in a group. We’re all here. We hopped in a photo. You know what? I happened to be standing where I was standing.”
Shay continued, “I take photos with strangers every f–king day. That’s how you take a photo. I stand like that. I smile. I tilt my head to my good side.”
While Kennedy, 31, Lewber, 27, Davies, 33, and Schwartz, 40, have yet to address the picture, Shay refuted claims Wednesday that she has “forgiven” Sandoval for his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss under Ariana Madix’s nose.
She hit back at a social media user calling her out, tweeting, “Soooo I shouldn’t be here doing my job?”
In a separate post, Shay wrote, “I take photos w strangers on the daily and have my arm bent up behind [people]. End of story. Should I look miserable in a group fan photo I got thrown in walking to our car?”

As the Bravolebrities film in Lake Tahoe, Leviss, meanwhile, was photographed in Tucson, Ariz., following her exit from a mental health facility.
Earlier this month, TheFantasyTimes reported that the former pageant queen, 28, was still negotiating her contract — and playing “hardball” — ahead of the cast trip.
An insider told us that although she is “genuinely concerned for her well-being,” Leviss will join Season 11 “for the right price.”
News broke in March that Sandoval was cheating on Madix, 38, with Leviss. After filming the show’s reunion later that same month, Leviss entered intensive therapy.
Since her exit, Miss Sonoma County 2016 has reportedly gone back to her birth name, Rachel.
