Loki Season 2 has been one of the most highly anticipated series of 2023. The excitement was palpable, and the viewership numbers have surpassed expectations. Loki Season 2 has received a phenomenal response on Disney+ Hotstar during its opening weekend.

According to Disney, Loki S2 has amassed $10.9 million views within the first three days. This surpasses the viewership of the MCU’s previous series, “Secret Invasion,” which had 994,000 viewers for its premiere. In terms of regular weekends, this is the second biggest opening for Disney after The Mandalorian season 3.

The success of Loki was highly anticipated and crucial for the MCU’s new phase. Building on the massive success of Loki S1, it was expected that Loki 2 would surpass the overall viewership of its predecessor. As we look forward to Avengers: Secret Wars, Marvel needs to maintain this momentum.

The second season of Loki premiered on Disney+ on October 5, 2023, and will consist of six episodes airing until November 9, as part of MCU Phase 5. Led by Tom Hiddleston, Loki S2 features a talented ensemble cast including Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, Ke Huy Quan, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tara Strong, and Jonathan Majors.
