Makeup-free Tiffani Thiessen goes on coffee run
Tiffani Thiessen, known for her role in the popular TV show “Saved by the Bell,” was spotted at a Starbucks in Los Angeles while running errands. The actress looked relaxed in a pair of black athletic shorts, a gray T-shirt, and tan sandals. She had an orange lanyard around her neck and kept a low profile as she returned to her car with three different beverages in hand. Thiessen, who is 49 years old, tied her brunette hair back in a bun and chose to go makeup-free, showcasing her timeless beauty.
After getting her drinks, Thiessen made a stop at a nearby gas station where she greeted the paparazzi with a sweet smile while refueling her car. Despite gaining fame at a young age for her role as Kelly Kapowski, Thiessen believes that her character had more depth than just her physical appearance. She believes that her character, Kelly, had a sense of feminism instilled in her, even if she wasn’t fully aware of it. Thiessen attributes this to Kelly’s background of coming from a large family and having limited resources, which made her resourceful and determined.
Today, Thiessen has shifted her focus to her passion for cooking. In 2018, during an interview, she mentioned that her character on “Saved by the Bell” may have unknowingly embodied feminist qualities. She also mentioned that Elizabeth Berkley’s character, Jessie, had a more explicit feminist role. Thiessen has embraced her role as a mother of two and has written a cookbook. Additionally, she is currently hosting the MTV show “Deliciousness,” which features viral and entertaining food fails. Thiessen expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and enjoys working on the show with her co-hosts.
Being close to home, Thiessen finds it convenient to shoot the show and cherishes the laughter and camaraderie on set. The only challenge for her is standing in heels all day.

The actress was just 15 when she rose to fame while playing Kelly Kapowski on the hit NBC series.
Despite becoming a sensation overnight, Thiessen insists that there was more to her character than just her beauty.

During an interview in 2018, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress said that her “Saved” character, Kelly, “may have been [a feminist] without knowing it.”
“I think truly out of all the characters the feminist role was Elizabeth Berkley [who played Jessie, but] I think in [Kelly’s] mind it was different,” she said during a panel at Blogher’s Creator Summit.
“She came from having a lot of brothers and sisters, which was all about sharing and having to be all about family, [and] didn’t have a lot of money, so she made her mark by the little that she had, and there’s something to be said for that.”

Fast-forward to today, and Thiessen is currently juggling life as a mother of two, cookbook author and star of MTV’s “Deliciousness.”

She has served as both the host and a producer on the cooking series since 2020 when her husband, Brady Smith, came up with the idea while watching its predecessor, “Ridiculousness.”

“My husband was a huge fan and watched ‘Ridiculousness’ and told me that I needed to take this opportunity. So I did and I am so grateful,” she told TheFantasyTimes last year.
On the show, Thiessen plays some of the internet’s most viral and entertaining food fails for co-hosts Angela Kinsey, Kel Mitchell and Tim Chantarangsu.
“It is a dream job. The stages where we shoot are probably a good 12 minutes from my house, and we literally giggle every single day on set,” she added. “The hardest part for me is standing in heels all day. That’s it!”
