This groundbreaking agreement achieves significant advancements in addressing compensation through residuals and safeguards against generative artificial intelligence technology while reaffirming the indispensable role of human performers in the creation of film, television, and streaming entertainment.
Tomorrow, the National Board will convene to review the tentative agreement and vote on whether to present it to the membership for ratification.

• Over one billion dollars in new wages and funding for benefit plans;
• A bonus for participation in streaming;
• Increases in minimum compensation that break the so-called “industry pattern”;
• Consent and compensation guidelines for the use of AI, a first in history;
• Raised Pension & Health caps to enhance the value of our funds; and
• Crucial safeguards for diverse communities.
