Morgan Wallen Achieves 14th Week at No. 1, Enters Adele Territory – The Gentleman Report

Morgan Wallen, the renowned country singer, has yet again reclaimed the top spot on the Billboard album chart, marking his 14th time with his latest album, “One Thing at a Time,” since its release in March. Wallen has resumed his tour after a six-week hiatus, and his album is still dominating the charts.

With 14 weeks at the top, “One Thing at a Time” has surpassed Drake’s “Views,” which held the number one spot for 13 weeks in 2016. Wallen now holds the record for the most weeks at number one in over a decade, with Adele’s “21” being the last album to achieve 24 nonconsecutive weeks at the top in 2011 and 2012.

This week, “One Thing at a Time” has garnered 110,000 album equivalent units, including 139 million streams and 4,500 sales. The album’s popularity remains strong, with only a 1% decrease in listener activity compared to the previous week. In the 16 weeks since its release, Wallen’s album has consistently stayed above 100,000 equivalent units, a feat shared only with Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti” in the modern counting era, as reported by Billboard.

Wallen’s world tour in support of “One Thing at a Time” has resumed after a six-week postponement due to vocal rest recommended by doctors. The tour started in Chicago last week and is set to continue throughout the year, with some rescheduled dates stretching into 2024.
