‘New auntie’ Britney Spears gushes over Lance Bass’ kids
Britney Spears finally had the opportunity to meet Lance Bass’ twins, Violet and Alexander, after allegedly canceling their initial meeting.
“I’m now an auntie to Lance’s babies!!!” the “Stronger” singer announced on Twitter on Monday.
“They are absolutely beautiful babies!!!”
The reunion post featured two photos of Spears and her husband, Sam Asghari, embracing baby Violet while Bass held Alexander.
The former *NSYNC member and his husband, Michael Turchin, welcomed the twins through a surrogate in October 2021.
For the joyful reunion, Spears wore a red floral top with white denim shorts, while Asghari, 29, paired a light blue denim jacket with a black t-shirt and olive green cargo pants.
Bass, 44, opted for a Hawaiian button-up shirt with jeans.
Although the meeting appeared to go smoothly, Bass previously stated that their first attempt had been unsuccessful.
Last month, Bass revealed on his iHeartRadio podcast, “Frosted Tips,” that Spears had expressed interest in meeting the children. However, he alleged that her team prevented it from happening.
“You have to go through her people,” he shared about communicating with the 41-year-old “Toxic” singer. “It’s very strange.”
In the 90s, Spears and Bass dominated the pop charts and toured together, which led to a close friendship. Spears also famously dated Bass’ former bandmate, Justin Timberlake.

In fact, the two were so close that Bass privately confided in Spears about his homosexuality before publicly coming out years later.
However, Bass told PageSix in May 2022 that their relationship changed during Spears’ now-terminated conservatorship.
The performer claimed that he had tried to reach out to Spears but was unable to contact the pop star.
“There’s just a barrier around her,” he said at the time.
