Yesterday, we reported that Sunny Deol’s property in Juhu would be electronically auctioned to recover a loan amount of Rs. 56 crore owed to the Bank of Baroda. The actor can now breathe a sigh of relief as the bank has decided to withdraw the auction due to technical reasons.

The official statement issued by the Bank of Baroda states, “The e-auction notice for the sale of Mr. Ajay Singh Deol, also known as Mr. Sunny Deol’s property, is hereby withdrawn due to technical reasons.”

This means that Sunny Deol has the opportunity to repay the entire loan amount to the bank, even though the deadline has passed. The bank has provided an extension under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act of 2002, allowing the guarantor to settle the debt within a specified period.

Yesterday, we reported that Sunny Deol’s Juhu property would be e-auctioned to collect Rs. 56 crore of the loan amount by the Bank of Baroda. The actor has a big relief in this financial matter now, as the band has withdrawn the auction due to technical reasons.

The official statement given by Bank of Baroda reads, “Corrigendum to e-auction notice with regards to sale auction notice in respect of Mr. Ajay Singh Deol alias Mr. Sunny Deol stands withdrawn due to technical reasons.”

This means that Sunny Deol can repay all the amount to the bank even though the return is over. The bank has granted a sort of extension so that the guarantor can pay all the amount at once, under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act of 2002, which allows the person to settle debts within a specific period.
