Paris Hilton, Pink and more support Britney Spears amid Sam Asghari divorce
Britney Spears is showing her strength amidst her divorce from Sam Asghari, and celebrities are coming together to support her. While Spears has remained silent on social media about the split, other A-listers have shown their solidarity. Pink made headlines on August 16th during a concert in Michigan, where she changed the lyrics of her song “Don’t Let Me Get Me” to pay tribute to Spears. Instead of singing that she was “tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears,” Pink referred to her as “sweet” in videos captured by concertgoers and shared online. Paris Hilton also showed her support by liking one of Spears’ unbothered social media posts. Asghari filed for divorce on August 17th.
Shortly after the news broke that Asghari had filed for divorce, Spears posted a picture of herself riding a horse on the beach and expressed her excitement about buying a horse. She couldn’t decide between naming the horse Sophie or Roar, but she found her “sweet spot” with Roar. Octavia Spencer also showed her support for Spears on the same day. Pink continued to honor Spears during her concert in Michigan that evening.
Paris Hilton also liked one of Spears’ social media posts. Octavia Spencer, on the other hand, commented on the reported prenup renegotiations between Asghari and Spears. She referred to the fitness trainer’s actions as “extortion,” emphasizing that it is illegal.
Even Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, spoke out through his lawyer. Federline, with whom Spears shares two sons, expressed his desire for everything to work out for the best, whether they stay together or not. He wished Spears the best.
As for Asghari, he shared on Instagram Stories that he will always cherish the love and respect he has for his estranged wife. Spears and Asghari have been married since June 2022. They started dating in 2016 after meeting on the set of her music video for “Slumber Party,” and Asghari proposed in 2021. They signed a prenup in Spears’ favor when they got married, according to reports.
Asghari’s representative denied any negative intentions towards Spears and stated that there never will be.

Paris Hilton’s support was more subtle, as the “Simple Life” alum simply pressed “like” on one of Spears’ unbothered social media uploads.

Shortly after news broke that Asghari, 29, had filed for divorce on Aug. 16, the “Gimme More” singer posted a picture of herself riding a horse on the beach.
“Buying a horse soon 🐴 !!!” she captioned the smiling snap. “So many options it’s kinda hard !!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar 🐎 ??? I can’t make up my mind 🙈 !!! Should I join the camaraderie and put a pink cowboy hat on 😜 ??? Either way I think I found my sweet spot with Roar 😘”
That same day, Octavia Spencer showed herself to also be in Spears’ corner.

The Oscar-winning actress, who went viral in 2021 for instructing the “Crossroads” star to “make [Asghari] sign a prenup” when they got engaged, commented on TheFantasyTimes’s reporting that the fitness trainer was “threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless” the agreement was renegotiated.
In an Aug. 17 Instagram comment, Spencer wrote that “extortion is illegal.”
Even Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16, spoke out via his lawyer.

“He just hopes that everything works out for the best, whether that’s being together or not being together,” the attorney told TheFantasyTimes on Aug. 17.
“He wishes her the best,” the statement continued.
As for Asghari, he wrote via Instagram Stories that same day that he will “always … hold onto the love and respect” he has for his estranged wife.

When the duo wed the following year, they signed an airtight prenup “in her favor,” TheFantasyTimes reported in June 2022.
