Riley Keough remembers late mom Lisa Marie, brother Benjamin after Emmy nomination

Riley Keough expressed her heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Lisa Marie Presley, and late brother, Benjamin Keough, following her Emmy nomination.

Riley shared an image of a young Benjamin embracing Lisa Marie and wrote, “Missing you both.”

The actress took to her Instagram Story to share the sentimental photo after receiving recognition from the Television Academy for her lead role in the Prime Video series “Daisy Jones & the Six.”

Riley, who is 34 years old, reposted the nomination announcement on her Instagram Story and expressed her gratitude, saying, “Feeling very blessed 🙏🏼 thank you.”

The beloved brother of the “Terminal List” star, Benjamin, tragically died by suicide at the age of 27 in 2020.

Lisa Marie, the cherished daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, passed away at the age of 54 on January 12 due to cardiac arrest.

She was laid to rest beside her son in Graceland’s Meditation Garden.

Following Lisa Marie’s passing, Riley and her grandmother were involved in a highly publicized legal battle over the late singer’s trust, which was resolved last month.

Reportedly, Riley agreed to pay Priscilla, who is 78 years old, over $1 million to become the sole trustee of her mother’s estate.

In addition, she paid an extra $400,000 to cover legal expenses.

In return, Priscilla was removed as the trustee of her late daughter’s estate.

Her request to be buried next to her late husband, Elvis, was reportedly denied.

The legal dispute began in January when Priscilla contested her daughter’s will, alleging errors in its “authenticity and validity.”

“Missing you both,” Riley wrote on an image of a young Benjamin with his arms wrapped around Lisa Marie.

The actress shared the sentimental photo to her Instagram Story Wednesday following the news that she had been recognized by the Television Academy for her lead role in the Prime Video series “Daisy Jones & the Six.”

Riley, 34, re-shared the nomination announcement on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Feeling very blessed 🙏🏼 thank you.”

A friend of Lisa Marie told TheFantasyTimes at the time that Priscilla’s challenge to the will caused strife within the family and that she and her granddaughter were not on speaking terms.

“Riley and Priscilla are not talking,” the insider claimed. “Their relationship is changing, that is true. … It’s just so sad. This is the time Riley would really need her grandmother.”

It is unclear if the two have mended their relationship since the settlement.
