Rishab Shetty’s Kantara 2 Begins On November 27; Deets Inside
The team has already begun preparations for the sequel to the immensely successful film, Kantara. We have received information that Hombale Films is fully prepared to commence the shooting of the film on November 27, 2023.
Kantara 2 will serve as a captivating prequel to the original Kantara, delving into the story’s past. The production team will commence the filming process with a grand Muhurat Pooja ceremony on November 27th. A magnificent set is currently under construction for this period drama, where Rishab Shetty, Vijay Kiragandur, and the entire cast and crew will gather on the aforementioned date.
Following the Muhurat Pooja, the production team will kickstart the principal photography of the film in December, and further cast announcements will be made shortly after.

We have learned that Hombale Films is ready to take the film to floors on November 27, 2023.Kantara 2 will be a prequel to Kantarataking the story backwards. The makers will take the film on floors with the Muhurat Pooja, which is ready to commence on November 27th. A massive set is being constructed for the period drama, where actor-director Rishab Shetty, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and the other cast and crew will be present on the 27th.
After the muhurat pooja, the makers will kick off the principal photography for the film in December, and the rest of the cast will be announced soon after that.
