Robert De Niro, the 79-year-old actor, revealed that his six older children have not yet met his two-month-old daughter Gia, whom he had with his girlfriend Tiffany Chen. Speaking to People at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival screening of “A Bronx Tale,” he assured that they will meet eventually. De Niro is also a father to Drena, Raphael, Aaron, Julian, Elliot, and Helen.

Robert De Niro and Chen welcomed Gia on April 6, and Gayle King revealed the infant’s name on “CBS Mornings” last month. The couple’s bundle of joy was planned, and De Niro confirmed to TheFantasyTimes that he was not surprised to welcome baby number seven. De Niro co-founded the annual Tribeca Film Festival in 2002.

While walking the red carpet at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival’s screening of “A Bronx Tale” Saturday, the 79-year-old actor told People that his other kids have “not yet” met his baby girl.
“But they will,” he assured the magazine.
De Niro is also a father to daughter Drena, 51, son Raphael, 46, twin sons Aaron and Julian, 27, son Elliot, 25, and daughter Helen, 11.
The “About My Father” star also shared that he had a jam-packed Father’s Day planned for Sunday.
“[I am] just gonna spend it with the kids and all that,” he said — without clarifying which children would be there to celebrate.
De Niro and Chen, 45, welcomed Gia on April 6, but it wasn’t until the following month that he shared the news that he had “just had a baby” while correcting a reporter who called him a father of six.
The journalist also showed the first photo of Gia and told viewers that the couple’s bundle of joy was “planned.”
“They both wanted this baby,” King explained. “They’re over the moon. She was brought here in love. He’s very psyched about it.”

De Niro had also confirmed to TheFantasyTimes a month prior that he was not surprised to welcome baby No. 7 and that Gia was “planned.”
“How you could not plan that kind of thing?” he added.
De Niro and Chen looked exhausted earlier this month when they stepped out to attend the premiere of “Kiss the Future” in New York City.
The duo notably didn’t smile for photographers while walking the red carpet, though they did show a slight amount of PDA by holding hands.
De Niro co-founded the annual Big Apple-based Tribeca Film Festival in 2002.
News broke that De Niro and Chen were dating when they were seen holding hands on a trip to France in August 2021.
Their relationship came three years after his divorce from Grace Hightower, to whom he was married for more than 20 years.
He was previously married to Diahnne Abbott from 1976 to 1988.
